In the past three years the staff has given us a lot of material but what is your favorite and you can pick only one.

My favorite has to be when Bioware banned people for being too good at the game. Skip to 2:04 I couldn't say it any better.

LOL wow.

Anyway, there's been a bunch of screwups, I usually measure greatness by the size of the impact that  the specific screwup had on the Community. So with that said, in no particular order, here are my "favorite" Bioware Screwups

1)ME3's ending

2)The Bioware  Epic Community appreciation Auction (anyone remember that one?) For weeks they promoted this "Epic  community event"  (their words, not mine) as a "thank you" to the community. they even replaced  BSN's front page with a Countown timer.... And then, on the morning of the event itself, the Bombshell was released: We got the Rules.  And the rules were that  Only people living in the continental US are elegible to participate lol.   So basically, a "community appreciation event" that most of the community was not allowed to take part in.  Needless to say this one caused a firestorm.  An extended one. I'll see if I can dig up the old threads, later. They're a priceless read)

3) the DA2 Demo (and DA2 in General) The Demo thread reached 500 pages. Never in my life have I, personally, witnessed such outrage over a friggin Demo. But there it was. For 3 straight days the sky fell.

I felt differently about the demo I thought hey it was a short part of the game some part after the opening and then further in the game. Who was I to know that the Demo was the actual opening of the game.

I liked how for the first few months after ME3 released people couldn't even import their shepard's faces, one of the defining parts of Mass Effect and you couldn't even do it until they made that patch, which If I recall gave some people even more problems. Bravo.

id say losing KoToR 2 was a screw up

id say that one interview ordeal with whats her face and his face like six months back or so.power went out, lost connection and they didnt answer any real question like what was to be believed

id say banning/locking people out of their copy of DA2:PC/MAC because of their review.although i actually like da2 alot

.........
But i gotta say micromanging the the supply crates in ME3 for MP is bit greedy.its also pretty damn genuis if you ask me.but that might be more or so EA.either way *tips the hat to thy*

Jack's character treatment in ME3 was a really bothersome thing for me. Totally butchered her. It seems Liara is the only character the cared enough to get right. The second would have to be all the corners they cut with Dragon Age 2. I was one of the few people who genuinely enjoyed the first playthrough, but the second time around was unbearable. Why not make the game take place in one big room? That would've been preferable.

OH I KNOW!!! Remeber that one time they made super spoiled fans because they are too awesome and people wound up having unrealistic expectations and wet themselves when they didn't get exactly what they wanted?! Yeah that was funny. =]

 Holy Crap on a Stick... That has got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I hadn't followed what was happening with The Old Republic so I was blissfully unaware of this idiocy.

Oh, and I vote for the crappy ME3 endings as well.

Or its posters being banned lol.

Though I agree with the deception book. How we were lied to about how well wrote it was etc. Or how a revised edition is coming, I think thats been swept under the rug really.

It spawned the "I used to be part of the community, now I'm just X" meme we see in sig banners around here IIRC.

It always makes me sad when I remember how they had to create a separate "game owners only" forum because of all the rage over DA2.

Also, in b4 lockdown

Bioware giving people wrong impression that it's fans crafted stories not Bioware's crafted stories. Pampering the ego's of the fanbase over the years which has led to the entitlement, threating and vile nature of the current community whenever anything they do not like is said or done. They spoiled the community which has led to a state of spoiled children running rampage. If imagine Bioware was a parent and said child is allowed a dog, this community as such a child would throw a hissy fit and tantrum and demand a pony. Where if they do not agree with a group or a persons ideas that it means to that group or person they do not listen, that they hate them and that there is some grand conspiracy when in reality they did listen and simply just did not agree. So out of all the years been here, Bioware's biggest blunder is allowing the community to become spoiled due to misleading and ego pumping PR statements.
