James for Grunt. That way you still your combat specialist and we get rid of one of the silliest Bioware moments.

James has no purpose in the game, other than to offer the perpesctive of those players dumb enough to start the series with ME3, rather than ME1 (or ME2 if they prefer the PS3). By doing this the perspective character is Shepard, as it should be.

With the possible exception for Allers, I wouldn't kick anyone off the ship. I don't really like ME2 characters all too much.

Jacob is really boring, plus "the prize".

Miranda is too self-obsessed, plus my LI might get all jealous and stuff.

Samara is cool, but we don't really need two Asari on one ship unless they're embracing each other's eternity.

Jack is just nuts. Besides she can't join us because she's training those "kids" how to yell "I will destroy you".

Kasumi is a terrible character.

Zaeed is a borderline sociopath.

But yeah, Allers for Emily Wong. Hell I'd even take Kalisa Al Gelato (or whatever her name is) over Allers.

Get rid of James I don't like him and bring back from ME2 umm Kasumi or Miranda (sorry is that how you spell her name o.O)or if we can't have them I pick Grunt because we need Krogan

I would replace EDI for Kasumi.
I don't think EDI should have a body and be a squadmate, it's ridiculous, and I would prefer Kasumi because she's awesome.

Thane in place of Vega (after KS cure DLC - probably in my dreams)

Emly Wong in place of Allers (only keep Allers on because of the boost in war assets after key missions)

Mordin in place of the Doctor Michelle, and some way to cure the Genophage and keep Mordin alive on my Wrex/Eve playthrough. I always sabotage the Genophage when Wreve is the Krogan leader.

EDI's body for Kal Reeger.

The title of the thread says you can only choose 1 and can only be a squad member, so most of these are invalid.

That being said, I'd kick James for Maranda.
