If it had a good story, sure. Since that's ultimately why I play Mass Effect.

Bonus points if Anderson appears in a purple shirt with a fleur-de-lis.

it is...if you are pointing at Bloodlines as an example you are pointing at all of it....its greatness and its shortcomings. You should play Redemption

Look, I understand that as a VTM fan you are upset at some of lore inconsistencies in Bloodlines(and it's perfectly fine), but as someone who never played the PnP game these inconsistencies didn't bother me at all.
It's a very subjective matter.

Also, I heard that Redemption takes even a bigger **** on the game's lore(?).

no, it is a take on the Transylvanian chronicles....the lore is mostly intact really, people were pissed the adventure itself was following a different path

also....we condemn Bioware for dumbing down ME3 for the casual crowd, this is the same situation

At least the story was unique (for a BioWare game). It completely went against the formula they use.

Choices should have made an actual difference, but they don't in Mass Effect either.

Obviously the gameplay was much worse than Origins IMO.

I thought the whole experience was dumbed down for DA2 IMO, story and gameplay. However I do play all Bioware games on the PC, to my understanding DA2 was more focused on console for gameplay.  In the EC you get to see some of the choices you made in the slide show.

That may work

but I rather it was more like a total War kind of game.

Space and ground battles in real time, but the strategic aspects as x4

This is true but I don't think Bioware did in regards to DA2. They did in the ME series though.

Obviously very subjective, but I rather enjoyed the story for DA2. The gameplay was terrible, so I slipped it to normal so I could speed through it.

I play on consoles (just prefer it to PC gaming), and I loved the strategic nature of Origins' gameplay. It obviously suited keyboard and mouse better, but I chose to buy it on console after all.

DA3 should have gameplay that is suited both to keyboard and mouse, and the controller. The PC can use a controller after all, so there's no reason not to make two slightly different gameplay modes.

Yeah, the EC's slideshow was very Witcher-esque. Honestly, if they don't have the resources to show us two paths (yet CDProjecktRED do - I think BioWare is lying somewhere), then I'd like to see "comic-book" slideshows showing us the repercussions.

Dawn of War 2-style. Leader+a few mates. You can upgrade them between the missions.

I was referring less to the combat mechanics (which were a little clunky) and more to the "Galactic conquest" mode. You know, where there's 40-60 planets and you have to try to take over the galaxy.

A Mass Effect version of that. So you have the overall setting of SW:EaW, but the actual combat mechanics of Total War.

:o

Actualy something like Warhammer40k: Dawn of war could be nice. I'm not RTS player but i played Dawn of war and i like it.

But since Reapers can't be defeated conventionaly.."Level1: Repear capital ship Harbinger used galaxy nuke. Mission failed." or "Level1: Reaper commander Starbrat used The Crucible. Mission failed."
