A rts where we could play as any of the forces and battle each other on the otherworlds or in space muahaha epicness ^^

Like a Mass Effect version of Star Wars: Empire at War?

Like that except in the acception we can actually make buildings or space stations that keep replenishing our forces

You could. A high level space station would gradually spit out fighters and frigates.

Buildings would gradually spit out land units.

Obviously very subjective, but I rather enjoyed the story for DA2. The gameplay was terrible, so I slipped it to normal so I could speed through it.

The first time I played DA2 I really enjoyed the story as well, but when I found out that choices don't matter I couldn't bring myself to play it a third time. I agree the gameplay was terrible.

Jamie9 I play on consoles (just prefer it to PC gaming), and I loved the strategic nature of Origins' gameplay. It obviously suited keyboard and mouse better, but I chose to buy it on console after all.

I am also a console player at heart, I just prefer to play Bioware games on the PC.....I don't really know whyImage IPB.

Jamie9 DA3 should have gameplay that is suited both to keyboard and mouse, and the controller. The PC can use a controller after all, so there's no reason not to make two slightly different gameplay modes.

Yes I hope they make changes to make both the console and PC players happy, also I would like the darkspawn not to look like skeleton people but hey thats never going to happen. Also While a voice protagonist works in Mass Effect they should keep the DA series to a silent protagonist

Well, since we're mashing up games, we could have an element from Civilization: truces.

You're able to make pacts and agreements with other factions (which then may be broken at any time).

It makes great use of the license of Star Wars. Obviously, it was released 7 years ago now, so it's not the best looking game ever, but I found it great fun.

Having the entire galaxy there (you can choose how many planets, there are 3 factions - Rebels, Empire, Consortium) was just amazing.

If you do buy it, there was a mod released about half a year ago called "Republic at War". It allows you to play in the prequel era. All the units are changed, there are new maps, new sound effects, the full works. Super high quality mod. The graphics were even improved.

So I recommend that too. ^_^

The sandbox mode is okay as I recall, and there are a lot of good mods out for it.
The story mode is incredibly stupid though. It involves a criminal syndicate trying to steal the Empire's biggest dreadnought. This would be like the mafia trying to steal an aircraft carrier.

I haven't played corruptions, but I have played star wars empire at war and that was a good game.  Just think how cool it would be to have a RTS ME game, you could have space battles.......against the Reapers!

I'd love a rts where we could play as all the factions excluding the reapers and fight on land or space battles and lead any of our forces to victory!!

There are a few people trying to put together a Mass Effect mod for Sins of a Solar Empire.
However, one of them wants to use the Crucible as a gameplay mechanic. I want to slap them.

That would be awesome. While I agree they should keep the reapers out as a faction I can't help but think how cool it would look to bring 1000 ships head on with 100 reapers.

Meh, it's there to stay now.

If there was a campaign focused around holding back Reaper forces for a set period of time (180 days or whatever) until the Crucible is deployed, then that would be fun.

You could probably do a very good mod for GalCiv 2

Now building the apropriate ship models would be hard... but the Dreadlords are basically Reapers anyway xD

I remember it also had peacekeeper bots, a huge fleet that would run around attacking anyone who was at war while leaving everybody else alone. Worked as a deterrent if they appeared. Funny how spacebaby never thought of that one. :P

A 4X TBS or RTS would be cool, imo. Also, thanks for the tip on the Sins mod @The Angry One

Someone on the poll suggested a survival horror, which could be done on invaded earth. You use the threat of indoctrination as a method of psycological mind screws, bonus points if the main character is turian.
Also something like Sid Meier Pirates, as a pirate, a privateer, a pirate hunter, or trader in a pirate rich area of space.

Broken record time:

NO. Until they fix the ending. That actually goes with any BioWare product, right now.
