Mark Meer definitely. But Martin Sheen's acting as the Illusive Man was spot on, movie quality.

For Shepard, I'm going to vote Meer, because I've only played Sheploo.

Overall, I'm going to settle a 3-way tie between Brandon Keener, Keither David, and Yvonne Strahovski.

Definetly Jennifer Hale. I like Meer voice acting aswell, but a bigger fan of Jennifer.

I am in shock so many people are voting for Meer...I can't stand his voice lol. So monotone and emotionless...oh well, I'll be in the minority on this one Jen Hale is amazing and did a phenomenal job.

Jennifer Hale was incredible.

There were times during my Male!Shepard playthrough that I just wanted to mute the game because of how much I disliked Meer's voice acting. It just sounded so lifeless and monotone sometimes.

I find Bioware's female protagonists are voiced better than their male counterparts--I found Fem!Hawke's voice actress better as well.

I like them both equally as Shepard, but Meer gets my vote for doing every single vorcha, almost all the hanar, and Niftu Cal in ME2.

Meer is better as volus or quarian captains, and I'm just really eff'n sick of hearing Jennifer-overused-Hale everywhere.  

Couldn't even escape her on Sanctuary.

Hale. As I see it, Shepard is not supposed to be “just” a soldier, he/she is a leader and his/her voice needs to carry conviction, the passion to inspire others. Hale does that perfectly, Meer? Sure, he can do it, but didn’t do it in his role as Shepard. Personally, his Shepard felt flat, passionless. Not what I wanted for the character.

Hale I always play as a female Shepard and when I did try man Shep I found I just didn't connect to Meer's voice as well because Hale so strongly inhabits the Shepard character for me.

My first two runs through ME and ME2 were with Sheploo, and I was fine with Meer's voice acting. But then I played FemShep and was really impressed by Hale. So FemShep is definitely my favorite of the two Shepards now. Someone in the poll comments mentioned that most guys never play FemShep at all. I'm a guy, but the poster was probably correct. More guys should give FemShep a try, though. It's great to play the series with an entirely different interpretation of Shepard. I think both are fine actors, but Hale is definitely a cut above Meer, in my opinion.

To be honest, I enjoyed both Meer and Hale's work in all three games.
However, the Sheploo face just never sat right with me when hearing Meer's voice. Can't put my finger on why.

Lool............. but im a girl a enjoyed too much her ( hale)  tone  romancing to jacob  it was fun .
