Jennifer Hale, absolutely!

Till now I only played ( a whole game) with a Femshep. I did try, a couple of times, to play with male Shep, my but god, I really can't stand him! I don't like the way the model looks/acts, but also his voice annoys me big time. After only a little time I always end up wanting to snap his neck.

EDIT: Even as a Paragon, male Shep doesn't come across as a nice person for me.

I dunno, they both did great.

I think Mark had steady improvement over the course of the series, so I'll probably give it to him.

Hale shows emotion much better.

I think many of the voice actors were great but my favorites are so far:

Jennifer Hale as Female Shepard
Brandon Keener as Garrus Vakarian
Keith David as Admiral Anderson
Liz Sroka as Tali
Yvonne Strahovski as Miranda Lawson
and last but not least
Martin Sheen as the Illusive Man (some people can only act but not voice act so well, and vice versa, but this guy can do both so well)

I love most of the VAs and I think they all do a really good job acting their different characters. As far as Shepard, I slightly prefer the way Mark Meer delivers some lines compared to Jennifer Hale. As much as a lot of people like that she is a bit more emotional, for me it doesn't always fit and there are times when she can be a downright ham XD (though I do love her). Plus where would we be without all the extra Meer Volus, Hanar, Vorcha, and Quarians?

For me, almost every Meer's word is washed out from emotions. Jennifer Hale is imo superior VA.

I definitely prefer Mark Meer as Shepard. Don't get me wrong, I think Hale is a great voice actor in general (loved Bastiala in KOTOR), but Meer's Shepard is just more convincing for me. I've always been surprised by people complaining about how he expresses emotions, because I think he almost always nail's it.

Ultimately it's a personal preference, and I think it's great that so many people enjoyed their work.

Jennifer Hale seems to be the fan's favourite, but as a guy I don't like playing through as a female character, so I've always been a BroShep which makes my choice of Mark Meer pretty easy.

Shepard sometimes sounds like he has the emotional depth of a brick and sometimes Jennifer Hale sounds like a man, but as Shepard, a leader, a friend, and a soldier, I feel as if Jennifer Hale does it better although I prefer Mark Meer.

I've always found the two Shepard actors are pretty sub-par compared to the rest of the cast, but out of the two I prefer Meer.

I prefer Meer, especially in 3. He improved immensly over the three games and made it much more enjoyable.

I am not a big fan of Hale as I think she can overact at times.
