Tinfoil hat concept is dumb. The "ninja" updates are noticeable and not announced until after they occur

A) I read the balance thread every week and am part of balance all things group. B) Bioware has not always been that truthful and when you use them as your proof you just undermine your own argument.C) If everybody elses personal experience trumps yours I would say it invalidates your personal experience proof. Also this tinfoil hat crap is invalid as project silence happened MONTHS AGO so banshees have not been in the spotlight as of recent.

sorry OP, but that change isn't recent, has been going for about 3 weeks or more

Also the phantom shield works like this:

She will use her shield when a power with travel time (CS, Warp, Nades, etc) is used on her and thus she will block it to avoid 100% of the damage/effect, while her shield is up no powers (besides a few that I have not tested yet) will do anything to her, that includes several ones that DON'T have travel time, including Overload.

So yes Overload will work on her all the time UNTIL she raises her shield in defense of something else (a nade or warp):)

Quick question:

Why was your hero unable to walk on water in Dragon Warrior 3?  heck lets make it FF6

I have noticed Banshees have a hoover power that I never noticed before where they can suck you to them if you are anywhere with in like 10-20 feet of them. I have also noticed some enemies remarkably heal back or regain armor or health or shields fairly fast so you have to kill them all over again. While in general there seem to be more enemies in every level with higher hit points in total than before, they also seem to be alot DUMBER. Enemy troopers like assault troopers or phantoms or cannibals or geth troopers just seem to stand there or keep moving forward if you shoot them from behiind. Like some how they never seem to notice the lead flying at them is hitting their back side so they never think to turn around. Other enemies, I notice, LITERALLY walk right in front of your gun barrel to be blown away.

On the flip side, there does seem to be game cheats in that if you are dropped and return before the game is over you do not get your points back even though it has been posted to the contrary in this forum before. And in fact, it did use to work that way as it happened to me. When you are dropped from a game like that you can lose rare consumables as well as points. If you loose your points then how can that be added to the over all team effort squad bonus points at the end of the mission? The harpoon gun seems to be very buggy for example. It will not hit a target if it is dead center in your scope and at long range say looking out the window in the Dagger map. Sometimes there is are enemies that lag skip suddenly in one spot then a second later half across the map (not the same instance as the missed sniper shot from the harpoon btw). Sometimes, almost comically, enemies perform gymnastic acrobatics where they stand on each others head and call commands or situation reports to commanders while they are frozen in this olympic pose. Sometimes shot guns go right through the enemy standing right in front of you like 1 foot from your gun so, if it were real there would be no way to miss and not totally blow them away, yet in the magic of the me universe game world, a shot gun does miss in this situation too often. If a enemy is by a door or wall, they often do not take sniper damage or between a stair banister. Yet you can clearly see the target in your scope spot on a split second before you pull the trigger. If you get dropped why do you lose items? If you leave on purpose I could understand losing consumables or points but not when you do not want to leave the game. Even rejoining is not always possible if the mission is nearly over, in fact it is much worse then to be dropped cause, you spent a good effort on playing a hard won match and earning points and helping team mates but get nothing to show for it. I even question if you are dropped if your team benefits any less or more from the points you scored during the mission, though your aid and presence clearly would have been a benefit.

It seems accidental drops get thrown in the same essential punishments as those who leave on purpose by losing points and consumables with no distinction between the two. The only times I leave a game is if someone is being a jerk, if it is early on in a mission or a early wave and I have to leave or want to play with another friend who just came online. I do not go out of my way to ruin others fun or game when I must go. Dropped is another matter. It happens at the worst times. Lately, it happens most often near or at the end of a mission so you get the most frustration out of it. And in general lately the past week or so, I have seen many many more bugs in the game in general that make playing it successfully through a game with all players having no bug related mishaps as if playing a lottery.

You need to learn when to stop. The only argument you have given is literally : I haven't seen it so it doesn't exist. The only point you're even arguing about is banshee pathfinding. Perhaps because you know the other points made in the thread are valid?

Saying there are no ninja changes because balance changes are posted on the forums. Really?

While the health/damage/range/wave composition have been well documented, enemy behavioral changes haven't. It's obviously pretty apparent to many people (yes, including myself). It could be as simple as different teams being responsible for AI and stats, along with unproper communication.

It takes a big man to admit one's wrong. No one is going to think any lesser of you for it. Trolling on forums and insulting others, on the other hand... This goes for everyone, of course. Calm down, people.

what was the point of this thread again?

Those that know ninja changes happen won't change their mind and those that don't, won't listen so are we gaining anything from this thread?

nah I don't think so.

OP walk away, you feel something changed, but there is nothing you can do about it, you either keep playing or you don't that is the bottom line of this situation.

I can't exploit Banshees and now the Reapers are no longer my easiest faction enemy, but they are still fun, even if Banshees resort to cheats now... wish Geth didn't take control of the game and killed me without being able to do ****, otherwise they would be a decent enemy instead of the cheap lameos they are.

Anyways I am out, too much wasted time, that I should had used on something more important, like cutting my nails or something.

EDIT:

Wrong, your answer is too general and can be used to answer anything on the game as thus is invalid; the answer i was looking for was WHY you couldn't walk over water on those old games; sadly you won't have another try.

Also for your information if coded right you can just change a SINGLE word on a line of code and that would have allowed your character to walk over water.... alas my nails are a tad long.=]

You're arguing that Bioware hasn't had changes that they didn't document by saying "They aren't documented, therefore they don't exist!" You're making an assumption in this argument: that Bioware announces all changes.

Essentially, you're saying "I assume you're wrong, therefore you're wrong! I win!"

I've made no assumptions. Personal experience. Mine and 20 others trumps yours. You're the only one that's made an assumption regarding the central argument, and you've incorporated that into every moronic thing you've said.

11-13 may , operation sulencer. That is 1 month and a half + a few days, it wasnt months aeay.

Tinfoil hat still is right as banshee teleport has been in the game since release, spotlight theory etc justifies this. Makes up for all the BS wirh banshee here Q-Q

Same was done with operation with the phantoms (exorcist) topics were created about how they mysteriously got buffed, its because they were put into the spotlight.

As well this game needs a harder difficulty and im not the only one who thinks like that, just stating reapers are kind of easy.

We failed the operation and banshees appeared in all factions for a short while. All enemies have received a buff...yet none as magical as wall hacks. You have the tinfoil hat my friend. Disillusioned into believing only your word to be true and your experience to be the only viable one for example use. Screw their spotlight moment. Idc that they were put under a spotlight for an operation, I care that by the power of BW they may now say peekaboo with their hand in your tummy because they decided to teleport from A to B when not being able to before (month or so ago).

Going back to the origin of this thread I have noticed banshees acting far differently, cutting angles I hadn't seen in previouse months of play. The phantom thing is their shield power which has been discussed in other posts and threads. I have also noticed there seems to be more harasment troops in silver and gold(some of which were posted in the balance thread but I think it may ahve been light on the numbers and have been implemented before posting). Also at least n my games the last month or so I've noticed Cerberus seems to throw a lot more grenades than they us too. it also appears they noticed this and scaled down the amount of frag grenades being thrown but not the smoke.

This thread reminds me of the Iraqi disinformation minister gaffe. Continue handwaving things away, but it doesn't change the fact there are undocumented changes. When you load up the game and it patches without any indicator of what it did, you think they just felt like slowing your entry into the game that day? There have been numerous title updates without corresponding patch notes.

Then, as with all games, you also have partially inclusive patch notes. For one reason or another a change can go undocumented (last minute, information withheld on purpose, etc...).

I saw WoW mentioned in this thread. Guess what? If you wanted a list of all the patch changes in WoW you went to MMO-Champion.com to get all the datamined changes because it was the only way to be fully in the know.

Didn't know they made tinfoil hats big enough to fit brickwalls cause you sure are one. Its quite obvious there are changes that haven't been annoucned. Unless you merely troll the forums and don't even actually play the game. Your MP manifest justifies the argument, you have so little its hard to believe you've been an active member of the multpilayer and actually experienced the changes.
