Well here is the N7 armor (ME 2 variant) that I just got finished painting. I have a couple more things to do and it will be ready to go for Dragon*Con!

An amazing work, really!
May I ask you what material have you used for this? I'm trying to create a ME3 Version, but I'm having a hard time working with fiberglass.

The armor is made from those gray "EVA" foam floor mats. The kind that interlock - the kind you put in your shop or under gym equipment. Some foam mats actually come with a carbon fiber-esk texture on one side just like in the game.
Here are some un-painted work in progress shots. The gray is the EVA floor mats, the black areas are 1/4 inch craft foam or 3mm craft foam that I bought at Michaels. A few curves were achieved by cutting strips of styrene and gluing them across the edges of the foam. You could also heat form the foam, but I prefer this method.

I did not come up with this method. Credit goes to a guy who goes by EvilFX. Here is his blog -

I also used Volpin Props as inspiration -

Oh and please forgive the Halo battle rifle in the first pic lol I needed to see how mobile I was with a weapon. I have an M-3 pistol and Mattock kits on the way!

Looks like I have someone to look for when I go to Dragon Con haha. I'm going as Shepard as well, but it's kind of last minute so I had to get a simple Cerberus Dress uniform. Should be arriving in a few days, I'll post it up after I get it.

Wow, nice work. Doesn't even look uncomfortable. Is it possible to bend though, with the design of the armour coverring her stomach?
Thanks! It's not too bad, the whole suit is very light and the foam does have a lot of flex to it. She actually has a lot more range of motion than I do. She can pick stuff up and sit down - but we've both decided that we're only going to be spending a couple hours in the suits at a time standing only.

I didn't make this prop - my friend crafted it out of MDF.
