Fresh install, no mods or DLC installed yet. Tried to login to the account through the game to access available DLC and the screen just flashes "connecting to account" or something, not sure, wasn't enough time to read it and it nearly instantly returns back to the login prompt.
I'm not receiving any error message at all, checked firewall and it has proper access and everything. Been trying to search for similiar problems but unable to locate existing thread or a solution.

Several hours and 3 EA chat reps later, I've discovered by a fluke that DA:O does not like the # character inside passwords. So... now that I have resolved my login problem, I have immediately run directly into a new problem with the game not recognizing my DLC. OH THE JOY I AM HAVING!

First off, I would recommend that you have *no* special characters in your password, only numerals and letters.
Second, try applying the patch again-- especially if you did anything like editing XML files, etc., trying to get your original issue installed.
Since you have the original (i.e., not Ultimate Edition) of the game, your DLC needs to download and install within the game. This takes time. You need to launch the game, log in, and then go to the Downloadable Content menu. After a few minutes it should begin the downloads and you can watch the progress. If you have a lot of DLC, it will take a while.
If that does not work, consult the "Solutions Roundup", pinned near the top of the forum. About half-way down the first post, you should see an entry about manually installing DLC. Follow the link to the Dragon Age Wiki, and read and follow the instructions there. They have all of the links and instructions on how to install the DAZIP files-- note that some DLC actually requires TWO files-- the actual DLC and its associated offer file. There's also some neat freebee stuff you can snag there, too.
