This would introduce 4 New areas on the Galaxy map called "Vacuus"

Areas in the Galaxy that are vast stretches of Space that have no relays in them, meaning manual travel is required So your gonna finally actaully have to think on how you use your fuel to explore these generally massive areas of space. The Reapers have begun sending fairly large groups into these areas and the alliance wants to know what Thier up too. The Normandy has been fitted with new state of the art engines, and a more effiencent fuel system.

The Four areas are named as such

Fera Tractus -Wild Space = Located in the Alliance Territory, It is the Third largest Vacuus... considered the Bermuda Triangle of Alliance due to the several disappearances of ships and crews that fly into the area.

Ignotum Inanis = The smallest Vacuus it is located in the edge of Council Territory. Is noted for its constant celestial disturbances that rage near it's border making even entry difficult, It is Dubbed the Labyrinth of Storms in Asari. Many have attempted to navigate thourgh these Celestial storms in search on the systems that lay within the Vacuus' expanse. The few that have succeeded have stated that the first ring is just a buffer for and while there are few

Daemonium Spatium = Located in the Terminus systems. Considered the Largest of these Relayless areas, It has earn it's name of the Demon's Lair. Countless Myths and Legends see this place as the birthplace of evil and reports of... distubing encounters with ships of unknown origin even with the Reaper invasion the sightings don't match the descriptions of the few living witnesses. While some efforts have been made to go into the deeper reaches. These efforts have always ended in tragedy and the mysterious deaths of all those involved. Pirates use the few out lying systems on the Vacuus' edge as staging grounds and  fortresses. None of them dare to venture deeper in... afraid they might stir something.

Lemures Insula = The Attican  Traverses Vacuus rivals the Terminus' in size and in legends. Unknown ships that appear and vanish on the horizon. Surveyors being watched from a distance. The Strange sounds on seemingly lifeless worlds. Reaper Progress is strangely the most hesitant and reserved...in fact they seem to be flat out ignoring the area all together as though they know what is waiting inside.

The DLC would start off with you heading for the Ignotum Inanis where the Reapers seem to be massing for a full on invasion of the Vacuus... The Alliance believes that whatever is making the Reapers focus this much on what is perceived as empty space or space that shouldn't mean anything to them sicne it's away from the relay network might mean an Ally, A weapon or something else.

Exploring the planets in the Vacuus will net you more resources and assets as well as be kinda like the old Me1 explorations... -though no where near as huge- Also the hostile wild life is back!!! YEAH!

What lies within these unexplored regions of space? Could they provide a way to beat the Reapers once and for all. or are the legends just drunk spacers rambling nonsense?

Only Commander Shepard and the Normandy's faithful crew can discover the truth!

So the Question becomes what is in the middle of these Vacuuses...

Granted I've only thought up the Ignotum Inanis storyline.

After receiving news of the Reapers a massing to enter the Vacuus, You get aynomous tips to visit Illum and talk to a private freighter captain who lives very ideal for a guy who has a tough job.. After some boozing up, or if your Renegade... you beat the infromation out of him. He'll tell you the storms form channels that you can follow to get into the second layer of the Vacuus. He has made runs there for someone who'd order about a fleets worth of suppplies every few years. Generally the latest weapons and prototypes. His buyer would usually provide him with all the clearance to get the stuff so the Captain figures his some coporate big wig or something.

Says his never met his buyer inperson just that he'd always be greeted by a Drone, flanked by Ymir and Loki Mechs. The Drone would carry out the transation... the mechs would refuel his ship and then They'd go over that the meeting never happened. If you want to get into the fabled core of the expanse... His got nothing for you.

Thus begins your treck into the Maze of Storms. Generally you'll just be hoping from system to system gathering fuel to restock, finding slavage and occasionally landing on a planet that looks like it has promise -tends to be a pit stop with a bunch of angry natives or a pirate den- As you get closer to the second layer the planets start having reaper forces... cause apparently even the reapers aren't immune to the storms a couple have crashed or been outright ripped apart trying to basically bullrush through the storm.

The Story kicks into gear once you make it to the second layer and find the drop off point the Captain told you about. You find a boosting station for the extranet so it can go into the heart of vacuus. It's run by Loki Mechs and Drones that oversee the operation. However you find it under attack by Reaper forces. The Loki and Fenris Mechs are generally no match for the Reaper forces.

After securing the station from the Reapers, You'll get a dialouge with one of the surving drones. Apparently The drone is tasked with keepin files on business transactions with various companies. Looking into you find all the companies have investors who are all dead but thier accounts still function and see activity leading you to the conclusion that the accounts are dummy identities for the owner of this station.

The Reapers mount a second offensive... but this is cut short by the arrival of Ymir mechs... and a New set of Bio synthetic soldiers. These synthetics troops are more of a match for the Reaper troops... but you are also labeled a target so you have to fight both groups off as you escape back to the Normandy.

You travel deeper into the Second layer, trying to find a way through the third storm wall into the eye of the Vacuus. You reached the end of the Storm channel you've been hopefully using and find what's left of the Reaper expedition slugging it out with those Bio-Synthetics over a world that appaears to be guarding the only gap in the third Storm Wall.

Shepard can decide whether to aid in or ignore the Battle and head off into the eye.

What is the point, dare I ask, of threads like this? Do you people honestly think some Bioware employee is magically going to appear and be like OMG YES THAT IS THE BEST IDEA EVER?

No.

if you really think your idea is so amazing, send it to them. Granted, they will ignore you, but all the same.

Must you really be that rude? People put the time and effort to put such threads up so that they know what others think of their ideas, and gain constructive feedback, and perhaps they will consider sending it to Bioware. But otherwise, think before you start degrade on someone elses work.

Hey, you can make this tie into another ending DLC. Shepard discovers a force more powerful than the Reapers and gets them to side with him. AWESOME!

Where the **** was i in my mad rambling...

Oh yes you get to the Eye and after using the Extranet feed as your beacon you finally find the core systems of this Vacuus and the first of the Forgotten.

After picking a fight with the complex's guardian the fight gets called off by a Tentacle Man -whose rather buff and not stick thin like certain statues-

It turns out that the Inusannon aren't quite dead... well They are cause this one guy despite being close to 70,000 is the last "True" one and his on death's door.

The reason that the New Inusannon -looking somewhere like a mix of a Nautolan and Chimera Sui Generis- are mix of bio and synthetics dates back to when after centuries of kicking thier asses, The Inusannon finally made a stand and locked the reapers into a stalemate. -again terrain played a part in this, The Inusannon survivors had gathered in a system with only one relay for the reapers to come through- The Reapers being the biggest bunch of petty winners they are, decided that harvesting the survivors was more trouble then it's worth... and Just DNA plagued the rest of them and packed up and lefted.

The Inusannon retreated into the Vacuus due to the naturally accuring storms and fought the plague the best they could... becoming depentent on gene modifications. The old realised they were a lost cause but could atleast pass thier legacy down. The Last True inusannon -I'm will refer to him as Bob until i can think of something better- was born much more resistant to the plague and worked his ass off to finally find a immunity to it... He couldn't cure it in himself but if he could create a new batch that would be immune to the plague. -Almost as an ode to the Daleks- He used the untainted cells of his dead he could find , gene therapy, cloning and using sythetics to fit parts that were missing and has been slowly growing his new Inusannon in relative peace inside the Vacuus.

He became involved with the Galaxy at large a little less then 1,500 using fake names and proxies to gather supplies for his growing "children's needs and to build the necessary tools they'd need to protect themselves from the reapers.

He is... not optimistic about your chances of winning nor does he think throwing his "children" into a war is the thing a father should do as his last act in life.

Shepard tries pointing out that the Reapers are here now trying to get in. Bob counters they've done this before when they purged the Protheans cycle. The Reapers are beings of logic and if they calculate that taken the Vacuus by force is cost prohibited they'll leave them be just like the last time the Reapers sent a scout group in and they didn't come back.

Shepard can either appeal to Appeal to Bob wishing to endure his race's legacy or try calling him out on hiding while the galaxy burns... Bob sees through Shepard's plot charisma and begins to dress Shepard down. Bob senses -Depending on you Renegade/Paragon- that Shepard would be willing to burn the galaxy down just to kill the Reapers or That Shepard would do anything to bring peace to the Galaxy even if it meant compromising with the enemy. -A nod to the endings-

Bob states he will not make the decision... He is the last of the old and If the Inusannon do return to wage war it will be decided by the New. Your then Introduced to Bob's Finest Biosynth, Odin, who will take over as leader once his father kicks the bucket. -and Bob doesn't seem to be doing all that well, remember how i said he looked buff when you meet him, his slowly becoming more anmd more stick thing like the plague is finally eating away at him and his gene mods can't fight it back any longer-

Before shepard can start using thier plot charisma on Odin, the Reaper Expedition finally make it into the eye -after the one wounded dreadnought decides to just ram the planetary guns out of spite-

This leads to the final battle of the Vacuus as you head off to met what's left of the Reaper expedition who decide to do an all out attack on the system that serves as a barrier for the core systems.

after a drawn out fleet fight and the Reaper Dreadnought pulling a ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL for the Boss fight.

Bob dies from his age.

Shepard finally gets the chance to work the charm magic. Depending on your actions earlier and how you spoke with Bob.
Odin will give you the support or decide to fight the Reapers on his terms not Shepard's -This effects Palaven's sitaution- He however will offer to come with you leaving  Bob's Bodyguard in charge or will Send the body guard with you as a gesture of good will as he leads his kind to war.

With the Inusannon in the fight the Reapers start to funnel thier forces back to Earth-making the ending assualt even harder- as Palaven starts to become a losing battle now with turian, Krogan and A fresh fleet in the fight.

however that's the smallest one, the other three are much larger and hold a lot more secrets then just one forgotten.

Whelp might as well commit to my Insanity

Fera Tractus... Prolouge Quest

Gianna-if you aren't on good terms, the Spectres will give you the tip- contacts you to meet her on Noveria to help investigate supposed Cerberus activites and possible involvement with several of the coporations private labs. -WIERD SCIENCE!-
anyway you'll hook up with Gianna -or Her spectre stand in- along with your old friends the ERCS -I beleive you killed some of them last time you were here-

Plus a Mako drive through the Snow XD... after a few lab shakedowns lead to nothing, You come across two leads in the lab crawling with Cerberus -which is the last one you check ain't it always-

One: Cerberus is interested in the Owner of Lab 07, one of the more insolated labs... and It's odd shipping. ever 6 or so months a several shuttles are brought in and then lauched toward the Western half of the Fera Tractus -it's big enough that it's divided into two section- yet the flight records show they never comeback... and The owner never hires freelance pilots. The Second lead.. well the final floor of the lab has the Cerberus operative and his goon squad already slaughtered... by Three Armored Lupine shaped Aliens - They looked like Space Marine Werewolves as Ashley puts it- Granted You help says it might have just been the helmets shape since thier is no record of such a species existing.
After a brief firefight the Three unknowns take something hey were waiting to download and then escape into oncoming snowstorm.

However shady business and coverups is common on Noveria soo you have to find a pretty damn good reason to let Matsuo let you into someone's private lab.

Running around Port Hashan again you can learn several interesting facts.
The Owner of the Lab 07-I shalt refer to him as Solomon from here on out... a cookie to the person who gets the reference- is one of Noveria's oldest clients and yet... nobody can agree on what he looks like. Some say his a Salarian -which can't be cause it doesn't match his age- One guy claims his a male Asari... I'm pretty sure his drunk off his ass, A Hanar, A Drell -with Noveria's weather fat chance- the list goes on and on.

Eventually you find atleast enough proof using Solomon's fairly large lists of purchaseds of weapons and parts that the Lab needs a look through even if Solomon is the ERCS biggest payer for privacy. Shepard and Co along with Gianna-if she's there- and Matsuo with small group of troops head off to Lab 07.

Apparently Cerberus beat you there and unfortunately for Cerberus... someone beat you to killing them as a fairly large Cerberus assualt team has already be annihilated when you get there.

Matsuo doesn't see how it's possible seeing that Solomon's purchases shows no Private Bodyguards-Generally just mercs- or Attack Mechs.

The only answers lay inside the lab!

Back to Madness

Your fight into lab o7 has you pitted agaisnt a a fairly large Cerberus group -of what's left of the force that came- and More of the Space Wolves. The Wolves have the Overkill skill -thier guns light up and suddenly due massive damage to armor, shields and health for a brief moment of time though they can't fire for bit once the skill ends-

Oddly when you take one down another will drag his wounded comrade out of combat and behind a locked door so you only have to get rid of one to make the wolves in the section go away... though letting them rip cerberus apart will save you ammo. Near the end you wound one in the shoulder as they retreat into the main lab.

After you finally reach the lab... only to find nothing of note, Gianna will start snooping saying that that last group ran in here and there has to be a some secret since the lab is a dead end.

Remembering the one you wounded, finding the faint blood trail leads to a wall, that Gianna finds the buttom too revealing an elevator the leads down. Shepard, Gianna Matsuo and Shepard's team take the elevator while Matsuo's squad secures the lab.

Taking the eleveator however leads to a stand off with about 30 of the Wolves... -and the earlier asserition of Space Marine Werewolves is proven right cause the lead one isn't wearing his helmet-

Before Shepard's last stand can start, a Salarian in a business suit appears and orders the wolves to stand down. -up till this point if you've heard the wolves talk you couldn't understand them cause they were talking in thier native language... not citadel speech,- The Leader and the Salarian argue -you can understand it cause thier both using citadel lingo... though bits of the arguement do go back into the Wolves native tongue-

The lead Wolf relents and the Salarian introduces himself as Solomon -long over the top series of names- the 28th.

The Q & A with Solomon leads to some contradicting facts about his origin.

the gist of the conversation

1. The Wolves are the evolution of Noveria's Nathak -Nathakai- and he has been caring for them for a long... long time.

"Wait, if thier the Evolution of the Nathak... why are there still Nathak running around in the wastes?"

"Query? Humans evolved from Apes Yes? Therefore if you evolved there should be no other apes on Earth?"

-Lead Nathakai chimes in Solomon generally answers a question he doesn't want to spead two hours discussing with question-

2. Solomon is clearly not a Salarian.
Solomon is very up front about this, -Reveals his real form is... well kind a Humanoid shape white thing with litte features- Says his species can change form using pheromone signals and then reshaping thier physical strucuture- Picked a Salarian cause a reclusive Salarian Scientist... no one thinks about -after which he does a Hanar, Elcor and Krogan mimic- He wanted to do a Krogan but... A Reclusive Krogan scientist would be to much of a stretch for people to beleive.

3. What's with all the Shipments

Due to Citadel and alliance encrotchment and Noveria's relative poor enviroment for the rapdily growing population, Solomon has been shipping groups of the Nathakai into the Fera Tractus so they can develop and grow away from the Alliance, Batarians and Citadel species. "Didn't want them to get wrapped up in politics... be used by Salarian's, seduced by Asari, pushed out by the Humans, enslaved by Batarians, Killed by Krogan and Swindled by Volus!"

They have a few "dens" dug under the Mountain ranges near geothermal springs... but the bulk of the Nathakai live in the Fera Tractus now. Solomon's security is infact Nathakai from the Tractus' worlds.

Why is Cerberus here?

Solomon doesn't know, might think his shipments were toward building some kind of super weapon.

-Cerberus being vague and having a nonsensical goal... that's par the course in ME3-

and Why the name Solomon.

The Legend of Asari consort that went to earth -Samara did supposely take out the spanish Armada- and was shocked by the wisdom of an earth king. That's Solomon's namesake.

an explosion rocks the lab as Matsuo's squad radios that Cerberus is back and they brought in Heavy equipment.

So it's back up the elevator to have showdown with Cerberus.

After finishing off the Cerberus assualt force... Solomon figures out what Cerberus was looking for. His last shipments were to help the Nathakai's latest colonizing effort in a system in the Tractus -Thier 5th major one-

He doesn't know why Cerberus would care about that one planet or systems... The three systems near it are too toxic to be of use other then resource nodes. -It's a plot point from ME1 and ME3-

Solomon agrees that if Shepard can convince the Nathakai to go to war on thier own validation he won't stop them.

Now that the Prolouge is done...

The Fera Tractus would Three Major Quest lines...
1. Nathakai support
2. Cerberus movements
3. Missing Allaince Ships

I need to check some sources first though So I'll ramble ideas about those later.

anyways... Solomon agrees to take you to the Nathakai's systems to atleast stop whatever Cerberus is up too -So you know which system you looking for in the Vacuus instead of just going form system to system hoping to find something.

As you travel Solomon gives you a quick rundown of the culture... Remember his acting as a Salarian therefore his going to give too much information :P

The Nathakai run on very similar on Krogan logic ie the Strongest Rule Thus the First is the Leader... The First is picked out of the Alphas, the highest ranking Warriors/Leaders in the Army every ten years the First must prove they are still capable of Leading -unlike some that once they get the job they grow soft- and if the First fails -usually due to old age and being to feeble to met the demands of leadership- He must step down.

Unlike the Krogan, The Nathakai aren't trying to beat each other senseless every two minutes and The Pack infighting only lasted for about 200 years before they got united under one Alpha -Hence the First-

The Nathakai have 5 major systems populated last time Solomon checked -In Fact the large amount of supplies his been shipping is due to the 5th ones colonization- with a few smaller colonies spread out into the Vacuus systems surrounding them.

Solomon states that the Current First has held it for the longest time.

wouldn't a Female Werewolf technically have six breasts?

anyway
You arrive at the Original and Biggest of the colonies, you can go a on control cruise if you want but the main gist is the Current First has been wounded in Battle with an enemy race attacking thier Lastest Colony site and the Two Strongest Alpha's are contesting who will be the new First

This is Shepard chance to get much needed bodies into the Reaper war -or you can attempt to respect Solomon's efforts and not bring it up.

The enemy attacking the Colony is none other then the Rachni -with a bunch of new strains of warriors apparently to fill out the military- but the First wasn't wounded by one of the bugs, he was sniped by a Cerberus soldier. -Remember that whole Cerberus cloned the Rachni and have thier own Queen plot that didn't go anywhere once you found the depot that blew itself up... IT'S BACK!!-

The Dilemma with Nathakai is one of the Alphas is very expansionist and would be open to going to war seeing it as a chance to make an impression on the Galaxy at large... and possibly claim thier own relay system. The other is more conservative and sees the Reapers as threat... but not thier threat. However The Conservative one sees that the race would have to gear up for war, while the other would rush troops to the lines,

You can choose to weaken one or the other so when they duel for Firstdom they'll lose or just leave it up to chance-generally the conservative one will win if left up to chance as his the established Vet of the two while the other is a younger upstart-

Whether or not they wanted to be in the war doesn't matter cause Cerberus has forced thier hands.

anyway You'll head off to the Colony under attack and fight off the new Rachni enemies-they could be thier own faction- and Cerberus troops. Once you kill the Brood Warriors in all the proper areas the Rachni will retreat from the planet and head back toward three systems.

By aiding the Nathakai you'll get some support and what assets they give is Based on How is First and if you convinced them to go to war-

anywho, It's after the retreating Rachni and thier Cerberus handler. There are three systems you need to explore... each one has a Rachni breeding planet. Your task is relatively straight forward Search around killing Rachni till you find the Cerberus base, Go in kill Cerberus troops, and Kill the Clone Queen inside each. the last one you do will have a scientist willing to talk and he tells you the original is with his boss on the Main station that's located in a debris field in the middle of the three systems.-then his face asplodes from the ocular flashbangs-

You'll finally get a scene of Cerberus base where TIM is talking to the Head of the Operation. "The Monster Maker"
TMM is proud that his research has paid off and he is able to order their queens troops around,
TIM is wary of the last time when the things proved to smart to be controlled.
TMM says that his taken extra precautions
TIM asks if TMM is aware that Shepard is in the vicinity.
TMM says his ready for Shepard.

The Cerberus base is pretty much pure hell as now the Rachni have full cerberus support with them -no phantoms or Atlases though- So watch out for Rachni Warrior charges through a Centurion smoke screen.- As you fight through the station, TMM imparts his wonderfully whacky personality on you...-Think an evil Prof Oak with the Insano devotion to science-

You'll eventually reach the center chamber... and find what they've done to the poor queen to gain the amonut of control they have. -gouge out it's eyes, has the control device pretty much bolted into it's spine, has it fully restrained and muzzled and tend to keep it doped up so it doesn't hurt itelf trying to break free- and TMM -who is the Stable form of an L2 biotic... and it shows when he hurls four freaking Crates at you-

after giving TMM a Shepard One liner and Bullet to the Face

You come to the Dilemma as the drugs wear off it it starts calling for someone to help it and stop the pain.

Let it go
Help it- only for Paragon players who spared the other Queen-
Kill it
Use it -TMM was atleast nice enough to leave instructions-

Regardless of your choice the Nathakai will give whatever support you earned and if you help/use the Queen you'll get a nice Rachni army to buff up your forces

If you got both to supports... Khar'Shan and The Batarian resistance will start pushing back the Reapers and The Reapers will start filtering troops back to gather over earth.

so
Ignotum Inanis = If you get the Inusannon into the fight Palaven's situation will lighten and the Reaper's focus on Earth
Fera Tractus = If you get one or both into the fight, Khar'Shan and the Batarians get cut a break as much needed suport shows up. and The Reapers Gather more over Earth -Yeah I took Garrus' Earth will decide who wins or loses to heart-

Next Rambling, Shiala, Jungles, Vines and Do Plants Dream of Chia Pet sheep?

Welcome to the Jungle we've got fun and games

Anyway... With one half of the Tractus explored, The other half is filled with small quests, Finding lost units of Krogan, Batarian SUI... Killing the wildlife when it tries to kill you, and all while feeling like your being watched.

Sometimes you'll jump into a system and see something leave.

Anyway, Hackett will tell you a high profile ship with important scientists was chased into the Tractus by a Reaper and crashed in one of the systems. Hackett wants you to investigate and see if thier were any Survivors

After some searching with the data Hackett gives, You arrive at a Jungle planet. Since the Canopy is too thick for the normandy, you'll have to go in on foot. If a reaper was chasing it you expect husks.

-As an homage to Predator, the treck to the crashed ship is fightless... just alot of tension and noticing that there is a extreme lack of wildlife-

You find the ship strangled in vines and begin searching it

If you spared her in ME1, You'll find Shiala who had been brought on the ship as the lead exam subject. Her exposure to the Thorian has made her on of the few people that A: recovered from indoctrination and B: is flat out immune to it. The Scientists on the ship were hoping to create an Anti-Indoctrination signal to throw Reaper forces into disarray by studying her brain activity or atleast find a way to block it. She says most of the scientists got to the escape pods and have landed on the planet... She then shows you the bodybags of the crew, saying most of them died in the battle and the few that survived either died when they crashed or from thier wounds later.

and in moment Me2 fans been demanding, Shiala will join your party -as a fully functional Squadmate I'm seeing a more offensive version of Liari with ARs and SGs- to help track down the escape pods

If you didn't spare Shiala, You'll just find a log entry explaining the teams work on indoctrination and Your squadmate -generally the tech user- will pull out data showing the escape pods supposed landing locations. -Note i'm just gonna assume you did spare her for the sake of cohension-

either way your gonna start trecking for escape pods, After a little more uneventful walking thinking you heard something. Shiala will wonder if the Reaper simply gave up after it sent the ship down.

When you find the first escape pod... you find a few dead husks and signs that whoever was inside was dragged off. Now Reapers troops will spring  out and ambush you as you move toward the second pod

at the second pod... well you find what was left of the survivors. You Hear a bunch Brutes roar and expecting a big fight after mowing down a wave of Husks and Cannibals... The Brutes never show up.

As you make your way toward the third pod... you find the brutes have been Mauled by something as some of them have been tied up into the canopy and others look like they were ripped apart and some look melted.

-Garrus: Why do they look... juicy?
Shiala: Some type of acid I'd assume-

As you treck, Shiala will start trying to make small talk,-and if she showed signs of it, flirting with Shepard... bring your love interest for fun!-

after finding yet another group of slaughtered husks, You start thinknig your not alone down here

"Shiala: but we haven't even heard any type of animals here and no sound of gunfire.

James: Well that leaves us two options, A: Your scientist pals are some badass mother****ers or B: The Plants killed them

Shepard: The Thorian was a sentient plant. No one every said it was the only one of its kind or the only plant to evolve to that point.

Shiala: This planet is nothing but plants

James:...

Shepard: ....

Shiala: ....

Shepard: Let's find those scientists and get the hell out of here.

Shiala: Agreed

James: Roger that

or If you have Javik he starts ranting that now he has to worry about the Grass rising up to challenge Machines and Organics for dominance... Maybe he should make an AI to deal with the problem get those two fighting instead.

After that sillyness, You reach the third pod only to find an epic clash of... Husks and Thorian Creepers!
You play clean up and Shiala freaks out cause She and the scientists have been exposed to the air -Shepard and co have been wearing thier helmets-  You open the pod to find some of the surviving scientists still alive and radio for Cortez to airlfit them out at a clearing a little ways away. The Husks and Thorian constructs- apparently this one can make more then just poison based husk knockoffs like the panther like Stalker- keep duking it out as Vines come to life and pick the Reaper troops off.

after Evacing the survivors, you head for the last pod... As the Reaper that shot the ship down shows up and starts burning the jungle down. The last pod landed near a Mountain and series of caves... You hope the scientists went into the caves for refuge.

As the entire land scape begins to shake as the Reaper keeps randomingly blasting away at stuff.

Where was I oh yeah

The Planets surface seems to come to life and starts lashing out at the Reaper as it starts doing the logical thing of blasting every damn thing that moves, however eventually the The sea of foilage overwhelms and strangles the Reaper.

After Witnessing this Madness -Great now the Weeds are dangerous too- Shepard and co go deeper into the cave system where you get the old familar feeling of Feros with great vein like tendrils sticking out of the cave walls.

Garrus: This one must be bigger

Shiala: It's strange it doesn't seem to reach out to me.

Shepard: This planet is isolated from the rest of galaxy and all there is is plant life... Maybe it doesn't have a concept of enslaving thralls since it's all alone out here.

Garrus: Yes of course we can just be best friends with it and it's creepy minions. I'll have joker schedule a poker game .
Shepard: ... -_-

Shiala: Let's just find the Head Scientist and leave.

reaching the deepest levels of the Cave... several miles down you find what you think is the Thorian's core and the unconscious scientist... protected by more of the Thorian's constructs and Swamp Thing -okay not really but basically the boss is this hulking Avatar-

after the fight you come to the conclusion that the pods were attacked by the Reapers and the Thorian was actaully trying to help those inside. Shiala seems to go into a trance like state and approach one of the larger vines that seemingly "bites" her... and then spits out a clone... except... with a few "subtractions"

Garrus: Now this is a blast from the past... Though I don't remember the veiw being this nice

Shepard: Garrus...

Shiala: Stop Staring... this is weird enough as it is.

The clone Shiala starts asking questions abotu the Reapers, The other thorian etc. -and it keeps poping out a Shiala clone to where we reach that scene in BSG where boomers runs into her copies-

This Thorian refers to itself as the Lonely Growth having seeded itself through out the planet -Yeah it's a whole lot bigger then the one of Feros-

The scientists were being indoctrinated -In great pain- So the Thorian eased that pain by placing its spores inside them so it's psychic network could block it out

The Dilema here is do you use the Thorian's spores to develop anti indoctrination serums... This Thorian claims the link is temporary and leaves only a shield from indoctrination. However Remember the last Thorian was a egotistic jerk and while this one may seem kinder it might grow attached to the idea of being connected to people outside of it's planet... though that might be why it's making Shiala clones and mixing them with his Swamp thing to create a new form of Thorian constructs. -Shiala is now traumatized!-

and no killing it is not an option... unless you have something that can penetrate into the lower mantle.

Either way the Thorian let's you take the scientists in peace while it does things with itself

Shiala will ask to stay with you on the Normandy... If you say yes she'll take Thane's old living space

Your War Assets will go up as reports of plant monsters attacking reaper forces on frontier worlds and Spore like pods flying through space -Harbigner:Even the ****ing Trees are giving us crap this cycle!-

-If you don't have Shiala, The Lead Scientist acts as the voice piece of the Thorian and you don't get the Thorian assets cause the Thorian doesn't gain the means and knowledge to expand like it does with Shiala since Her thorian had Prothean thralls-

Seeing that the First two have given you nothing but good things and generally cost the reapers a few of thier boys

This is the Vacuus where the Game Changes, While you can find mercs and pirates to join the fight the major events here don't help your war effort in a positive way.

Story Arcs

Fallen One

Hackett orers you to investigate a string of Geth attacks along the "Western" border of the Tractus -This quest would only be avaible after Rannoch- As you Ramble around running into hostile Merc, Pirate and Various new forms of wild life, You'll come across a Geth outpost, once you clear it -it's pretty much empty- You'll find a functioning Geth whose first instincts is to surrender not shoot.

The Geth -Refered to here on as Seraph due to the Design on his chest- keeps rambling about Nazara's plan

Nazara of course is the Name The Geth called Sovereign, and as you try to Explain to the toaster, Sovereign died in its failed attack on the Citadel.

EDI will note that Seraph has the Reaper code that grants the Geth a full personality. -Hence Seraph's very adamant and lively proclamations that Nazara led him and his fellow Geth out here gave them the clarity and had them prepare for the Reapers... However Nazara has apparently changed his plans is moving deeper into the DS looking for something. Seraph was one of the Geth that wanted to join the others on Rannoch so Nazara left him here alone for questioning his orders. -why not just kill him, You little splinter group of Geth is from another splinter group that has taken alot of damage. Also you've given your followers free thinking to help you achieve your goal... do you really want to come off as the guy that kills those who have legitimate reasons?-

using the outpost you gain the data on three potential geth bases and ride off. -You have an option of recruiting Seraph into your Squad-

EDI speculates that Nazara is simply a Geth that gained full sentience and used the guise to get the Heretics too follow him.

Seraph offers a strange insight to the Geth as why they would beleive that the Old Machines would help them achieve sentience like them. When asked Which Geth is Nazara. Seraph reply is "The one that Dwarfs the Primes, Is Jet Black and uses the abilities your call Biotics"

Alot of the scenarios would need like a professional touchover -Since I'm pretty sure i probably repeated myself in certain scenarios-

but eh...

The Feras was honestly the easiest to me cause it's pays alot of elements from ME1 off.

The Thorian and your decision on Feros

Noveria, The costant secrecy, The Rachni and The Cerberus Rachni project.

and I like the idea of Armored Werewolf space Marines.

Anywho

What happens next is a simple round of Geth cleaning, in the style of ME1's mission -finding three/four smaller bases to find the big one-

The plot line kicks into gear once this main one is found, Since it's not a ground base... nor a Space station. It's a Command Carrier about the Size of Omega that is building a Geth fleet to rival/surpass the one over Rannoch -Nazara's been busy- out of an Asteriod field.

After a brief fighter chase, Shepard and Co can't allow this fleet to join up with the Reapers -Which is what they assume Nazara is going to do-, Seraph-or Edi- tells Shepard a way to get inside and a Team is sent in to infiltrate the Carrier. Inside the Carrier is both a mobile base, and factory for this Geth Armada. Heading through the Production Tier -which is churning out Geth platforms for something- Shepard encounters old and new geth troopers, Geth Snipers-armed with Javelins- Geth Shock troopers -Tougher versions of the standard troops, armed with SMGs- Juggernaughts -wielding Spitfires- and...Geth Acolytes... A biotic using Geth armed with a plasma hand cannon -They have the classic red glowy circiuts of reaper tech and red colored biotics expect Warp, Throw and Nova-

During this Fight Seraph Reveals ,his like the acolytes, a Gift from Nazara gives to his most loyal followers. -The other Geth Acolytes are like Seraph have more emerged personalites and refer to him as the fallen one and He corrupts the whole-

after fighting out of the factory portion of the Ship, The storage portion of the Carrier shows millions of dormant platforms ready to be awakened. Shepard speculates that Nazara will fill the blanks with Reaper code and suddenly the Reapers have a massive Armada and large chunk of manpower to use.

Seraph then asks the Question if Nazara's goal is to unite with the Reaper's... why hide here now that they've come into the Galaxy?

Traveling Further into the Carrier they finally encouter a Prime fitting Seraph's description of Nazara...whose been waiting for them.

Nazara recognizes Shepard on sight -the voice is very legion like- and begin talking about how shepard made him unwhole before pulling out Dual Spitfires and attacking.

Nazara's body breaksdown from the battle.

Shepard and Co begin to head toward the control room while Seraph can't believe how easily Nazara was killed.

Nazara's voice says it's a regrettable tradeoff form being stuck in an ill suited body for his power.
A second Nazara model Geth appears... flanked by two more and then A Nazara appears at each entrance.

Shepard demands to know what's going on.

Nazara in unison-as the legion voice fades and a familar one takes it's place-

"I told you before, My kind transcends your very understanding. We are each a nation - independent, free of all weakness. You cannot grasp the nature of our existence."

Shepard: That voice!

Liara: It can't be!

Seraph:...

-The Geth Nazaras' heads light up and shoot a beams into one spot... forming the Holographic Image of Sovereign

Sovereign: I am Eternal, I have neither beginning or end. My existence transcends yours!

Shepard: We destroyed you at the citadel!

Sovereign: Pitiful insect, you have come farther then We thought possible and yet your understanding is still so limited. Your temporary setback only cost me my physical shell. My Essence is eternal! And your end is nigh.

Shepard: I know the truth about the Reapers, You just races melted down and turned into monsters. I bet you were no different!

Sovereign: How We existed in a previous form is irelevent, and even without that Shell My existence continues. I am truly eternal.

Shepard: There is no way you could have survived... Even if you loaded yourself into every fleeing Geth ship.

Liara: No, Shepard think back to the battle with Saren, If Sovereign was able to load enough of himself into just Saren that the feedback would knock him out... just one ship of Geth would be enough or the Citadel itself and load itself through the Relay network hub..... I wonder does this mean You truly can't kill a reaper?

Sovereign: Very astute, but pointless at this junction. This exchange is over -Sovereign's
hologram disappears as the Nazara class Geth attack with Normal Geth Primes-

Sovereign-voice over the intercom from the Ship-: Fight as you wish but know that even if you kill everyone of this worthless shells, My essence simply will find another. My Will transcends flesh and metal. Soul and Data. I am Eternal.

Apparently Killing Sovereign was the worse thing you can do... As now he starts ranting that he has even transcended the Reapers as you have a lenghty shootout and attempt to escape the Command Carrier.

Sovereign drops hints that His essence is no longer bound by the Master's chain nor does he heed Harbinger's commands. Sovereign has struck out for himself and seems capable of just breathing life into the Geth platforms -filling them with Sovereign Code, Yeah Not Reaper code, Sovereign has pulled an Agent Smith!-

Seraph is oddly quiet during all this... you'd figure his faith would be shaken with his god being a lie or Being Evil, but he seems unsuprised.

After finally escaping and the Reveal of sovereign's New Reaper Body... -Harbinger is a Star Destroyer... Sovereign's new body is the Executor-

Edi finally drops the bomb shell... sovereign's code completely overwrites existing code, Those Geth are extensions of him they always had been.

-everybody turns to stare at Seraph-

Seraph: The truth is, I was never banished by Nazara, I am Nazara.

-everybody pulls a gun on the deceitful Geth-

Seraph: I purposefully sent the signal, Hoping you Commander shepard would find it... My deception was only to ensure that I could lead you here and show you the threat that is growing.

James: You just admitted your just a sovereign clone, give us a reason why we shouldn't just blast you right here and now.

Seraph: Because The process is more then simply copying a code, It is to be engulfed and consumed by Nazara's essence... The Essence of the Race that formed it. I am all that is left of The Voiceless who wished only to be free.

Garrus: That's right Sovereign had to be a cycles previous civilization as well.

Seraph: When you Destroyed Sovereign Most of his consciouness was in the Being called Saren's corspe, Correct.

Liara: That's right when Saren's body was destoryed Sovereign seemd to be knocked out.

Shepard: Harbinger did a similar trick.

Seraph: Harbinger uses a buffer host to prevent such a feedback.

When the Feedback happens the Reaper's collective mind is shattered into it's base fragments to reassemble.
Sovereign's mind shattered... but it was linked to the Citadel... so most of them flowed into the various networks and would later reassemble on a Herectic Geth fleet once they realized that the core was gone. By the time Sovereign had reassembled enough to comprehend that its body was no more... an irregularity had occured.

Tali: A what?

Seraph: The Reaper code string that keeps The collective Reapers united had corrupted for unknown reasons. Perhaps it was the loss of the physical Reaper Core while Sovereign's consicouness was in transit from Saren that caused the corruption. This corruption has lead to Sovereign's indepedence though Sovereign displays a desire to absorb more life into it's collective consciouness instead of harvesting for the Reapers. Sovereign sees the Reapers as enemies as well.

Shepard: That Still doesn't explain you.

Seraph: My existence is due to the Freedom of Sovereign's collective mind, I am based on Nazara, The last hero of my long dead race essentially I am a sophisticated copy of the persona given life by the collective mind trying to express itself. That is why some of the Geth you encountered had distinct personas, It is sovereign's collective pushing the stronger minds into the code... Thus The persona is copied into the platform instead of standard extension of Sovereign.

Shepard: Why would Sovereign turn on the Reapers?

Seraph:... Commander if you woke up one day and found yourself in the realization that your most hated enemy had been using you for years, Would your first course of action be not vengeance?

Sovereign is created from the first race that truly challenged the Reapers and led to a two cycle long war.

Liara: Goddess they were that advanced?

The Race's advancement happened when a asteroid caused one of the relays to crash into the planet. Most of the Keepers were killed in the impact but the few that remained were killed by the natives of the planet. The Reapers' simply assumed the Relay destroyed... and for the rest of that cycle's purging a Race was able to study and adapt Mass effect technology and truly master it since without the Keepers to maintain it, the Race had to create it themselves. The Reaper's left for Dark space just as this new race began to spread into the stars. This gave the Race 50,000 years to spread and grow in strength. The Reaper's numbers aren't as vast as they use to be due to the conflict. -Rememberr Sovereign's claim that Every planet would have it's sky blotted out by thier numbers-

Liara: Surely the reapers would have detected such a massive grwoth in the galaxy.

Seraph: No, This was before the pratice of leaving the Vanguard behind to judge the races for harvesting. The Prothean's Harvesting was relatively early due to the precieved threat that they were on the verge of being able to truly replicate the technology. A Lesson the Reaper's after the war were devoted to not let it happen again. Machine's must first encounter a problem before they adapt to it. The Reaper's before Sovereign simply waited a set amount of time, and would harvest all viable life in the Galaxy before leaving. Sovereign added a layer of security that perfected the process.

Shepard: Atleast till the Prothean's freed the Keepers.

Seraph:Correct

Tali: So Sovereign is the first race that really fougth the Reapers? and They made them the into a Being whose sole purpose is the watch and make sure others don't get the same chance.

Seraph: I believe you'd call it Diablolical Irony.

Quick bump

anyway Nasara is the last hero of Sovereign race... think a Dranei/Eredar/whatever they are Shepard -and too further make the paralell Nasara's gender is Shepard's gender when Seraph uses a holo projection to take the old form-

Essentaily the reapers rubbed thier victory in by making Soveriegn constantly talk about how great the reapers are and be responsinble that no other race got as far as they did.

cause the Reapers are *****ers like that.
