The Quarians would be alright but they'd probably accidently make our toasters sentient, which would then proceed to eradicate both of us.
The Salarians would kidnap millions of us to fight giant bugs.
The Protheans would beat us with big sticks until we admit that we are stupid cattle that probably smell too.

The Geth would bombard us with spam and hanar-vorcha porn.

Liara is a cutey, but most Asari in game aren't all that hot. Don't see the blind fascination with them. Just like any race on earth some members pretty and some not so much. Or are you assuming you'll be invaded by ****ty pole dancers?

I think the quarians would be the best choice, the salarians would use us and I have certain political reservations about the asari...especially after the thessia mission. Turians...well, are turians. The volus...i don't think would invade without the turians. The krogan would destroy us all. The hanar would save some of us if a global disaster occurred. The Batarians would enslave us all and the Rachni would probably scare the crap out of us enough for us to start a war lol

Nonsense! Blasto alone could utilize a tentacle to impart force on any human's gluteal regions without exuding cooling moisture from its dermis.
Though I guess it's unlikely that a Hanar would need such a cooling mechanism.

From a warring view point, I'd have to say the Salarians. Their fleets are not as powerful as the Turians, and most of their work is in espionage and infiltration. Humans may not be used to them, but we can fight them more easily than the other council races, not to mention their defeat by Earth's armies will give us a tough reputation.
If we are discovered and don't enter a state of warfare with our finders, I'd say the Asari, as they would be more interested in gathering our genetic DNA for bonding than anything else.
