Hello - I have a habit of trading in most games when I'm done with them.  Personally, I can't think of a single PS2 era or earlier game that I wish i still had and that I'd actually still play, so right now I only own PS3 and PC games.

That said, there are a few games I don't think I'd ever part with (even if I could, as I can't resell PC games).

For me, those are:

1.  Diablo Trilogy
2.  Mass Effect Trilogy
3.  Resident Evil 5
4.  Latest versions of Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Marvel v. Capcom

I was just curious what games were your games you couldn't part with?

Examples of games I have gotten rid of but I sometimes regret though:

1.  Uncharted Trilogy (miss these once in a while)
2.  Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood (kinda miss these)
3.  Final Fantasy I, IV, VI, VII, VIII, X - Ultimately just grew out of this brand.
4.  Dragon Age (I loved these for about a year...but now after ME3 I'm starting to critique these a bit more).

I never sell any games unless they're boring or just flat out suck - the rest are keepers.

I generally don't sell or trade games unless I didn't like them, and it doesn't exactly happen often that I buy a game and hate it.

No problems uninstalling them though. I keep a backup of the saves I might want to use again so I can just reinstall.

Starwars Battlefront 1 and 2
All the Halo games. Even Halo Wars, even though it sucks.
FFXIII
FFXIII-2 CE
Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 CE
All the Gran Turismo games
Super Smash Brothers Melee
Super Mario 64
GTA: San Andreas
Zoids Battle Legends mostly cause I don't think I'd be able to find another copy, but also cause it's the best bad game ever.

I don't have a lot of space on my SSD, so I pretty much uninstall everything and either download it again later or back it up to external drive.

The only games in my Steam library I've never uninstalled are Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, Oblivion, Morrowind (mainly because it was such a pain to get all the mods for these games downloaded, installed and working properly).

It was a bit of a pain to install all the mods needed for Fallout 1, so I'm somewhat hesitant to uninstall this one; however, I've only played the game about 20 minutes. As for Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, it was so much headache to get the mods installed, that I gave up, deleted everything from my drive and decided I'm just going to wait for the Enhanced Edition before even attempting to play this game.

I seem to recall at one point I traded a game for a TF2 item. I think I had purchased a copy of Alpha Protocol when it was on sale for $2, added it to my Steam trading inventory, and then later someone I didn't know asked me to trade something for it. I was planning to trade for another game, but I went ahead with it.

Since I play it pretty much daily, I can't see myself uninstalling TF2 for any extended amount of time. Also, I'd be hesistant to uninstall F:NV and Skyrim, but that's more because it would be a pain to reinstall all of those mods. That's about it though.

As a PC player, I don't really have resale options, but the games in my collection that I still dust off and play would be:
Planescape: Torment
KotOR 2
Fallout 1
Fallout 2
Baldur's Gate 2
Neverwinter Nights 2 (for the community mods)
The Witcher 1 and 2
Time will tell if any others will make the list.

Rome: Total War is probably the one game I've always had on my main PCs since I installed it, but I don't really sell my games. I rarely buy AAA games at full price on release to begin with and I mainly game on PC, so reselling games isn't really a worthwhile (or possible) option for me.

Bought 5 AAA type games at full price last year and that's probably been the most I've bought in a number of years.

Neither do I, I mainly give them away to friends or relatives and in rare cases (ME1/2 and DA1/2) destroy them.

I sell any of my games that I have bought myself but I keep the ones gifted to me as show of respect towards the intention of the family or friend who bought me it, one's I sell can always buy back later. As for uninstall, I uninstall any game I am currently not playing (no exceptions), only keep the savegames on backup.

I would never EVER sell my Nintendo 64 or my N64 games, it was my first game system ever and I keep getting it out to reminisce from time to time.

A few other games would have to be Dark Cloud, my Pokemon games, and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. Those are priceless classics to me, gosh I love those games.

They're pretty much the best things ever. :I

For nostalgia reasons I could also never bring myself to sell anything Kingdom Hearts or sell Sonic Adventure Battle 2 (< the last good sonic game), and the Spongebob movie game (<surprisingly awesome).

I feel trade-ins are a joke anyway so I wouldn't trade in a crappy game to Gamestop especially. If its so sucky that I don't want to keep it than its easier to just throw it away. If its worth selling on E-bay or something than its worth keeping.
