I've learned never to give away my games as I usually end up regretting it. As such, the only games I've kept installed indefinitely have been KotOR and ME1.

I never sell games or trade them away. But i will never part with any of my Nintendo 64 games. The nostalgia is too strong for me to let them go.
Then i got some games that i've never uninstalled which is:
Starcraft 2
ME1
Rome: Total War

I have a few GoG games still on my computer i.e. PS:T and BG on the off-chance I'll want to try another run. V:tmB on steam, along the same frame of logic.

Otherwise, pretty much any rock band game. Drumming never seems to get old to me, and their hardware is the only non-arcade drumming controllers I trust. I hold a level of guilt for selling rock band 2 a couple years ago, and have been tempted to re-buy it since. Their games, to me, have nigh-infinite replay value.

Everything else I just rent; there's little to no point in paying $60 for a game that's beatable in a day or two.

Skyrim
The Witcher 2
Final Fantasy 7 and 9
The Halo games(Except Halo Wars, that's long gone)
Kotor 1 & 2
Shenmue 1 & 2

But as ME3 proved things are always subject to change. I'd never have dreamed of getting rid of any of the trilogy but then Bioware lied about MP and the ending of ME3 hit and I thought I'd rather just take the money.

I'm a PC gamer, so..

Crysis
Deus Ex 3
GTAIV
Mass Effect trilogy
Far Cry 1 and 2
Some others...

Some of these aren't actually installed right now but wouldn't sell them, or can't.

The games that I enjoy and know I will come back to. Anything else gets sold (or refunded if I beat it fast enough and know I won't be coming back to it again).

Neverwinter Nights
Age of Empires 2: Conqueror (with the forgotten empires coming I might have to uninstall...and reinstall)
Dragon Age Origins
Baldur's Gate Trilogy WeiDU
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I, II

Also, I just discovered...coincidentally, for most games above, uninstall/reinstall will be a pain because there is just so much community created content in it and I would hate to download them one by one and install them one by one again.

Real coincidence? I think not.

I only trade my bad games, the ones I regret buying in the first place, the rest I keep for playing later.

I never sell any games unless they're boring or just flat out suck - the rest are keepers.

^This.

You should see our ridiculous collection of PS3, 360, original XBox, PS2, and PS1 games. I think my husband even has a couple of game systems that I don't know squat about (Sega something or other, and some other one that completely escapes me). But in addition to the systems, we still have a boatload of games. It's ridiculous.

I even kept my nostalgic PC adventure games from back in the day, in their original boxes:
Syberia I and II
The Longest Journey I and II
The Myst series
Schizm
etc.

Uninstalling games? Nah. I have a 1TB D-drive just for games and the saved games go to the 2TB C-drive. Currently no need to uninstall anything. ;)
