I went to gamestop as of a few hours ago, and downloaded and bought (not in that order) Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3. 2 and 3 startup fine, but seeing as they are the sequels I obviously don't wanna play them first. I start up ME 1 and it takes me to the steam store (for ME 1) when I login. I talked to a 'Tania' in the EA live chat thingy and though she tried to help it was to no avail. She had me to a msconfig 'safe' reboot of my computer and again to no avail. So I ask Tech Support now, what to do? I am all out of options and am now essentially out 70 ish dollars for a series of games I can't really get the full experience for :/

Appreciate any and all help <3

This is not Tech Support in here at all, despite the misnomer. Read the description. It's gamer to gamer discussion, and game forum season is over now. The game is old, readers are few. The real support didn't finish its job, and this forum probably cannot backstop that failure.

If you are going to hope your fellow gamers, as few as we are now (and weekends reduce interaction also), you will have to complete a proper trouble report, completely, as described in the sticky.

I'm a little confused. Gamestop sells physical copies, right? So how does Steam come into play?
