Not Enough Long Swords

I dont know if im posting this in the correct section, but i think Bioware should've created alot moe weapons for the game, especially long swords. I have'nt really found that many, and those i do find arent really anything special.
There's also not enough Two Handed swords. Recently i downloaded The Edge, wich is a DLC, but it does'nt help my 2-H warrior one bit, neither does it help Alistair with his crappy 1-H. And if i decided to play Sword and shield, what will i be fighting with in the beginning ?
I think they should release a DLC with new 1-H swords and new 2-H swords asap so i can still get them before finishing the game. Wich im trying to postpone as long as possible !
Thank you.

2h swords are plenty as well, good 2h axe on the other hand are nowhere to be found, same as above, all are optional quests.

I have to agree on the lack of longswords. What is this winter forge you speak of? I'm on my second playthru so don't worry about spoilers. The only special forge I'm aware of is the golem forge. Does it have some other function I didn't know about or are you referring to something completely different?

The Winter Forge allows you to build pretty much any item you want.
What is a Winter Forge and how do you get it?

Be careful, as with all mods and developer codes, if you abuse the power you can disrupt the force.

All 3 of those are great longswords.

Ok great, but im like at the dwarfs, then i need to do the Brescillian forest , then Denerim. So im guessing after that the game is done ? And the only epic long sword i got was from the Soldies Peak DLC that i got. Or Wardens Keep. You actually get a party Chest and you get a forge that only makes dragon bone armor, but the dudes got no cool weapons. Just armor !
He makes the best longsword and 2h sword in the game. You need to get the material for it from a random map encounter.

It's pretty obvious that you aren't supposed to deck out every character with dragonbone items. You can get just enough gear to make your core group awesome though. I don't really see it as a problem, but it might be something that gets attention in a sequel.

I'm not the one who feels the need for more. One is quite sufficient.
