I think more top weapons would be overkill
Although I do agree there should be some better maces in the game at the cost of some longswords since there is a silly amount of good longswords.

Hi,
I dont know if im posting this in the correct section, but i think Bioware should've created alot moe weapons for the game, especially long swords. I have'nt really found that many, and those i do find arent really anything special.
There's also not enough Two Handed swords. Recently i downloaded The Edge, wich is a DLC, but it does'nt help my 2-H warrior one bit, neither does it help Alistair with his crappy 1-H. And if i decided to play Sword and shield, what will i be fighting with in the beginning ?
I think they should release a DLC with new 1-H swords and new 2-H swords asap so i can still get them before finishing the game. Wich im trying to postpone as long as possible !
Thank you.
Have you ever checked out http://gamebanshee.c...AO_Items.id=987 ?? You can search any item or weapon & they usually have a location or way of obtaining them threw a quest. You'll be able to find a lot of good weapons. Swords I guess depends on DLC, I use axes & there are plenty with lots of different looks. As for swords I know there is The Keening, Starfang(DLC), Asturian's Might(DLC), The Green Blade, Top Sider's Honor, Also a few random tier 6 & 7 drops with buffs on them are good. I think there are only 3 really good 2H's but anyways Merry CHristmas & I hope this helps.

The Winter Forge allows you to build pretty much any item you want.
Amen. I used the WF as a good role-playing tool so my warrior could continue to use his family sword and the shield of Highever throughout the game. Every so often I would destroy a couple of runes and a sword or shield of the type of material I wanted to upgrade to as 'components' (so I wouldn't feel like I was cheating) and then upgrade the family sword and shield. Finished the game with both of them made of silverite and the sword was runed up nicely.

Thank you.
I must say i got the Starfang 2-H for my human warrior, and the 1-H for my dual wielding Dwarf, also im wearing the Dragon Plate. The Plate feels a bit like cheating though. I can mostly outlive a fight and kick some serious ass. But then again, i haven't fought that bad ass of enemies yet.
What did the rest of you use to beat the bad bosses in the game ? Armor and weapons ?

Tactics. It's all about tactics. At first I thought you couldn't play through this game without a powerful mage but I have since discovered you can beat the game just about single handed if you do the proper character build, use the proper buffs, weapons, skills, talents, etc.
I beat the high dragon with three warriors and a rogue using nothing but longbows and warmth balms. Spread them out, hold them, and start shooting. The Dragon is all about whipping you in close, so when it zeroes in on one character have it lead the dragon (or Branka, or any other boss) on a merry chase while your other three keep sniping with the bows. The dragon (or other bosses) can't be everywhere at once, especially if you kill off their easier minions first. Think of all the times in the game those pesky archers ruin your day. You can return the favor.
Other tactics work as well. Make all your characters grenade=enabled and the you'll see a whole lot of options for wiping out large groups.

How does one even play an Arcane Warrior? Do you just dump points in strength and wear dragon armor plate wielding a 1-h sword and shield while flinging magic missiles ?
Arcane Warriors use their magic skill in place of strength for determing if they can use strength requirement armor and weapons.
