Steam punk. And take out the gritty. We've seen enough of it lately.

Hardly.

We've had games claim that they're 'gritty', but barely any of them actually are.

Hm there where something else in my post.. ..let me remember

Of course there can be handled mature themes and violence in combat, but
not the 'mature'-mark which has been stamped on every movie, game and
tv series in the last couple of years.

Wasn't that HK's idea, the rap RPG?

No idea, I remember seeing it being floated around a few months ago though. It might be pretty good if done right.
Knowing BW, if they do it, it will probably be more about having the secks forming deep relationships with your crew than anything else.

A truly mature game like The Witcher (uncensored, *** americans) and TW2, set in the Dragon Age universe.

Personally, do not define this as mature.

We already have Bethesda making great open world games, there's no need for Bioware to do that. I want something different.

Do not want a sandbox with Bioware stories; want a story driven game that allows for more CC freedom (eg, Warriors using bows, Mages weilding swords,  Rogues wearing Heavy armor, etc) and exploration between quest locations. Being able to locate a great snipers nest is desirable.

Maybe a little sand on the quest paths would be fine....

Well since you never played it you wouldn't really know.

I want Bioware to make a game that doesn't treat my like some dumb, angsty teen.

Dragon Age 3 and lots more Mass Effect please! Like ... a Mass Effect years later! Maybe of that little boy at the very end of ME3 that wants to hear more stories of Shepard, all grown up and a Soldier then or something? Or something of Shepard's kids (if he/she had any of course) <3

I'm not don't worry I moved on. I have CDPR, Obsidian and the many indie studios that have taken up the challenge like inXile. Still Bioware finally making a game that isn't about saving the world, not focused on eroge gameplay and a dark story NOT bloody filled with cursing or gore but dark. Dragon Age Origins was supposed to be dark fantasy felt like generic high fantasy to me.

BioWare's next game?

Eh, no thanks.

Kind of a pointless topic as Bioware is tied to DA and ME and will be for a long time.

You really think they're going to add another chapter into the mess that is Mass Effect?

Well, that's what they've said. People have short memories anyway, and if they shift focus to a new entry I bet it'll sell just fine, though I probably won't be interested

Of course, the endings (besides refusal) are clearly wiping the slate clean for future installments. You'll notice the Reapers are intact (even in "destroy") and civilization is rebuilt in all of them.

I know they're working on DA3, but they've honestly said they're making another Mass Effect game? Meh, you're probably right. They'll make it and people will buy it.

I hope that a new team takes over Mass effect and reboots I hope that this team learns the past sins of ME and makes a game that fits with the lore of the first two.
