Soft resetting?
Pressing a combination of buttons to go back to the title screen. Some games without a Quit option have it.
Soft Reset = The shoulder buttons+Start+Select simutaneously.

My Serperior still has Tackle because I noticed it needed a couple of attacks that weren't Grass type and I can't be assed to teach it something to take its place.
Believe me, Tackle won't be there forever. Especially since my Serperior is a Level 51 or something like that.
You should go to bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net because they have every Pokemon listed on there and what moves they can learn.
It's really helpful to creating a diverse moveset.
Anyone wanna go up against my Platinum team?

Excadrill helps in most teams, it's like Sandslash but less sucky and it's part Steel type.
Thanks. I've got two now.

Yeah but that's the boring way.LPPrince wrote...
Or you could be me and just steamroll everyone with Serperior. Then again, I did catch the first of the Legendary Musketeer Pokémon so I'll start using some more pokémon now.
More fun to make cool teams.

Though I don't find the legendaries in Black/White to be too interesting.
I guess I got spoiled in Platinum with my Darkrai, Shaymin, Shiny Mew, and the legendaries I caught on my own.

The only ones I like are Tornadus because it's a pure Flying type, it took them all these years to make one.LPPrince wrote...
Agreed. Legendary Teams(in my case).

Reshiram is cool because it's a Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

What's the other one you got? Also what types do you like? You should have at least one that's good in Attack(Excadrill), one that's good in Special Attack, one that's good with both that is hopefully good in Speed(with a good type) too and one tank that has good Defense and/or Special Defense.
Serperior. And I prefer Steel, Dragon and/or Water.

You win for the Yugioh reference. I miss its heyday. Blue Eyes was one of if not my favorite card.
Fun fact: Very first Yu-Gi-Oh pack I ever bought and opened had a first edition Blue Eyes in it.

As far as POKEMAN cards go, I had a few good ones, but I never got into the Pokémon card game like I got into the Yugioh card game. With Pokémon it was all about the show, movies, and video games.
I still remember getting a couple Ancient Mew cards, and the golden plated cards. Think I had a Dragonite gold plated card, hah.

But usually to get a shiny legendary you have to soft reset until you get it.

Happened to me once. I was just cruisin' along the pathways up from Viridian City and saw a shiny
Rattata. I caught it of course, but I was also going "Blasted odds".

For Dragon types I say go for a Haxorus, it's got great attack with some nice speed. I would say Hydreigon but it takes forever to get a Deino and even longer for it to become a Hydreigon.legion999 wrote...

For Water types Carracosta has great defense with good attack but is slow as sh!t and it's part Rock type. Seismitoad has only okay stats with somewhat good HP and it's part Ground type so it's only weak to Grass. Jellicent has some good special defense and it's part Ghost type so it's resistant to six types but weak to four. All three are great Pokémon, I myself went with a Seismitoad because it was the first one I could get.
Oh and I guess that Water monkey is pretty good as well.
Hope that helps.

I'll use a Hydreigon after beating the Elite Four and use Haxorus for everything before that. Level 65 is way too annoying to get to until higher level trainers become available.
Swampert was a beast in Sapphire so I think I'll use Seismotoad. I dislike Carracosta for the sole reason that if I wanted a turtle I'll use a goddamn Blastoise. I'm neutral towards Jellicent and that Water monkey just reminds me that there are way too many monkey pokemon.
For the last two I'm thinking of using either Darmanitan or Co****rigu with Braviary.

Braviary is a good pick by the way but if you can't get one, Archeops or Unfezant work well. It takes forever to get a Mandibuzz.<_<
