Creating a thread where only one opinion is allowed and insulting others who disagree with it. Nice bunch you lot.

Its not like negative threads are much better, this pretty much sums up every thread posted int The story section

Negative threads don't usually say "Don't post here if you don't agree." They welcome discussion and debate. Well, usually for about a dozen posts before it turns into both sides slinging insults at each other.

Funny how people talking about positive threads staying positive but clearly don't follow what they preach.

You'll see the same trend in the various character support threads on this forum.

There isn't any need for positivism. Especially forced positivism. You are welcome to your opinion but don't pretend that anyone else has to be happy.

You don't read much do you?....if you had read the title of the thread you would've known that this thread us for "people that have no problems with the endings after the EC"......you obviously dont fit that description.....nor was the OP "forcing" anything on anyone......

So go be a hater somewhere else. Quite pathetic that you find the need to come to this thread, when in fact the entire forum is filled with "The Ending totally sucks" threads....you know? All those threads are right up you alley....

So bail out....or get a clue.....either way, just stfu

So polite...

No the OP didn't force anything on anyone. I was simply pointing out that positivism for the sake of positivism isn't truly necessary. It was regarding the 'time for a positive thread' comment.

Grimwick.

Shut up.

I slowly believe that he/she is an A.I. that was programmed to not like the ending and has to force everyone to thinking the same...it is bound to its programming...a really tragic figure.;)

No one is insulting you. They're simply asking why you bother entering a thread for people who like the ending, when you clearly don't. I think it's an excellent question. Why?

Back on topic people!

There's a good reason that I usually stay out of those!

 That would explain so much! It's inability to comprehend complex statement, the fact that it gets stuck in a perpetual loop of the same complaining and nonsense arguements, the fact that it can't debate/converse like a person, but rather seems to break down- OMG! You've figured it out!

That's so sad. We should call in Captian Kirk to help.

Thats mainly because they don't need too, people who don't like the ending are much more likey to attack and ridicule, so creating a safe haven for positive discussion does seem inevitable

Don't get it twisted....you yourself just quoted the instigator himself, twisting the OP's words.....I have no problem with other peoples opinions....as you can see there are others in here that have their issues with the ending....yet, nobody in here has a problem with them.....we have a problem with trolls twisting words like Grim just did.....and you're doing right now.....thanks for your contribution

I like the endings now. They're bad, don't get me wrong, but the EC showed that Bioware can reach out to the fans. That makes it so bittersweet

That's fine, and I'm not trying to change anyone's opinion with this. It's not my fault some people act all insulted because I don't share their negative opinion on the ending.

There's always a need for positivism, and nobody's trying to force you to be positive. You don't feel positive? Don't post in a positive thread.

Nobody's trying to force you to be happy, lord only knows how much of a fool's errand THAT would be. But if you want to ****** in everyone else's Cheerios... do it somewhere else.

I was simply saying that positivism for the sake of positivism isn't necessary like the OP implied. And there isn't always a need for positivism...

Positivism for the sake of actually being positive and trying to make a place for like-minded people to congregate is absolutely necessary. And there is always a need for positivism, otherwise we'd all turn out like you. And who wants that, really?

There are plenty of threads for you to partake in that are more to your.... tastes. Instead of trying to troll threads that disagree with you, why don't you actually partake in the "discussions" in those threads?

The bold part isn't a valid point but the underlined one is. No need for unnecessary ad hominem flaming either. It appears people like you can only resort to insults.

And there appears to be double standards here. If I made a thread which is simply to gather people who hate the EC/ending then it would be instatrolled by supporters... so suddenly we aren't 'allowed' to make such threads. Also I am not trolling. I was raising a valid concern. Shame you guys blew it out of proportion.

Huh.

Actually, discussing why we like the endings and games and what about them we like it quite fun. Go find a QQ thread and 'discuss' (LOL) there.

Incorrect. There are many discussions to be had. Case in point:

Did you like the endings before the EC, or was it the EC that brought you around?

Are there things you wish the EC had addressed that it didn't, while still remaining positive about the result as a whole?

Which of the endings do you prefer, and why?

Are there any endings you simply cannot see yourself choosing, and why?

Would you be interested in mid-campaign DLC even knowing it doesn't necessarily change the endings? Why or why not?

If you could have made your dream ending, what would you have made?

etc etc etc.

It took me 30 seconds to think these up. We can have a place where we're positive about the endings and yet still have meaningful, productive discussions.

Unfortunately, you and your ilk rush to anything even remotely positive in order to try and shut down or derail the discussion because you simply cannot conceive of a world where we don't all think in lockstep with you.

Think positive guys! Positive feelings. Lets make a forum that doesn't have arguing or fighting for once. I'm getting sick of it.

That's not entirely true. Example: Waiting in line to see Return of the Jedi (eons ago) we all had the same opinion of the Star War's series, but that didn't stop us from having a great conversation about the story while we waited.
