Just doing another playthough of the entire Mass Effect series, and I up to the the part in ME2, after recruiting Tali. It's clear that her antagonism toward Cerberus is somewhat personal. This is also hinted at earlier in the game upon Freedom's Progress.
Later on in dialogue, she mentions something about a 'young biotic' on the flotilla who had some involvement with Cerberus.
I'm assuming that this story has something to do with one of the Mass Effect novels, I've no idea which one, as I have never read any of the novels.
Can anyone please briefly explain exactly what happened so as to help me better understand Tali's personal antagonism toward Cerberus? I've tried some Google searches, but can't really find anything specific.
