Umm the Geth definitely sided with the reapers because they knew they would win (until shep intervenes) I can guarantee you the Quarians would have had peace if the geth had just left Rannoch. And the Geth VI lies to you repeatedly throughout his missions and if you choose the quarians he says he shouldn't have trusted organics.
Legion at least isn't some ass of a geth who likes double crossing shep.

Absolutely. The goal is to stop the reapers. If that can be done by sacrificing one individual, my Shep, instead of an entire race, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Considering that the central motivation for destroy is to tragically sacrifice the few to save the many, you completely missed the point of destroy...
