Having edwin turn into edwina was the most fun I've had in an RPG like... ever.
Nostalgia kicking in.. want to play BG2 again... too bad I left my old CD's at my parent's place when I moved out.

Witch Of The Wilds - Red Wizard Of Thay.
Leliana - Imoen
Sten - Sarevok
Alistair - Ajantis, I wouldnt say Keldorn because he was even more strict on duty than either of these, even though Templar is close to Inquisitor.
No demented rangers tho?
Its a shame Npcs dont battle to the death with each other anymore... couldve been fun to watch

Well, kinda, there are certain parts where NPCs will turn on you, and then your other companions will fight them.
As far as your companions, I see Sarevok much more as Loghain, given that he's power mad and mostly evil with a chance at redemption, and also Alistair is more like Anomen IMO, even down to being able to shift his alignment based on personal quests.

The whole quest with in the Dalish camp with the chipmunkcheeked elf boy who needs to get a pelt of a wolf to impress a girl. There's a quest very much like it in IWD, with the questgiver being very similiar too in attitude.
( I remember because the camp in the old game was heavilly Finnishish.... )

Except in IWD you couldn't sleep with him/her.

Isn't there are a Wade in BG1 or 2 (i thought it was 2)? I can't seem to find anything on Google. But I could have sworn...maybe my memory has gone to mush.
well I know there's a "famous" smith in all the games. In Bg1 it was Thunderhammer, I forget his first name, he forged the Ankheg armor. In BG2 there is the dwarf, gah I can't remember!, he forged a couple of powerful weapons. And Wade it seems was a nod to those smiths, since he has character and forges special items.

I wish that old "YOU HAVE BEEN WAYLAID BY ENEMIES AND MUST DEFEND YOURSELF" sound file was still around for the random encounters... though I may well be the only one, since I remember people hating it.
LOL, this went through my head as well. I actually do miss it

Loithering, the girl that asks for traps - listen to her talk. Now, who does she sound like? That's right, Aerie completle with nervous stutter.
When I realised that I wanted to recruit that NPC.
