In terms of ease of use and variety in NPCs and Terrain?
Nwn 2 seems to have more buildings and terrain models but Nwn1 seems to have moe creatures to use.
I cant decide which I should work with.
Which is better overall Nwn 1 or 2 Toolset?

For me, it really comes down to terrain. If you need natural terrain, and you're willing to put in the hours to sculpt it, then you have to go with NWN2.

Hmm yeah Ive been looking at the options I have and I am getting a feeling that I will be using the Nwn2 Toolset simply so I can create more visually stunning sets for my modules since thier focus will be on character skill checks and dialogue options rather than fighting mobs.

If you're new to moding then the NWN1 toolset is a lot easier to get in to initially. Once you've got the basics then you can produce a small, playable module in a few hours. And it's worth bearing in mind that scripts and conversations developed in NWN1 can be imported into the NWN2 toolset.
But it all depends on what you ultimately want to achieve. Definately NWN2 produces visually more impressive modules (but of course requires a lot more work). Also I think that the companions system in NWN2 is lots better than that in NWN1.
Hope this helps.
