His voice is too cool to not have him say a few extra lines.

The word 'decimated' just sounds so much sweeter with a british accent.

I don't think that really works in this example.

It does though. People interpreted him as being important simply because he was in the early trailers. And since he appeared again in Priority: Earth, people expected something important. Only it turned out to be nothing.

I didn't really notice him majorly (no pun intended) until after I completed the game and was replaying it. When it struck me that he was so incredibly random and then I actually started paying attention to him.

Yeah. The dude shows up at the last minute while Shepard did all the hardwork. Probably there to take all the credits.

Hey while you were getting drunk and ***ing aliens he was fighting Reapers every day for months and surviving.

I think the guys on Earth deserve more credit than Shepard when it comes to having huge dangling balls.

I guess we should just ignore all stuff Shepard did in ME1 and 2................

If Coats is the Main Character in $ME4$ I'll let go of this series right now, c'mon Coat is as pointless as it gets, he manages to be more pointless than the "I was born in london" quote from Anderson, plus his face model looks like a The Sims 3 vanilla model.
No LOVE for Coats.

If i was given choice I would trade any of my dead characters for Coats, take your pick Legion, Thane or Mordin... hell send Coats to talk to the Catalyst, he will not be missed.

Kinda harsh to say "He has so little character" when if he was the main character of ME4, they'd give him one

I'd rather have him than James Vega

He'll probably be the next main character, and I'll skip that series because the only accents I can stand in my character are American and Australian. (DA2 grrrrr)
