Was just playing through for the second time and it was about the time Shep had to tearfully bid his LI adoo, when I noticed something horrendous and utterly baffling... this particular injustice being the soldiers who come down the Normandy ramp when your squad gets picked up. Filled with vigor they rush out into danger and begin heroically shooting at...wait, WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY SHOOTING AT???
There is literally nothing, NOTHING, to shoot at. And to counter the impending comments regarding the fact that they would shoot at Harbinger, well why the **** would they do that? They've supposedly been on the Normandy the whole time, which means they would have witnessed the devestation on earth and the firepower needed to kill a reaper with the experience from Rannoch. So rational people might be able to deduce that maybe, JUST MAYBE, the would know that an Avenger would only ****** IT THE HELL OF, if even that.
And aside from that there are literally no ground troops around the beam, only a ****load of corpses and creepy trees.
