threat x arrives halfway through the first game
in the destroy the first half you play as shep (if he/she is still alive). if shepard was a paragon, saved the geth, that weighs heavily on him. then shepard gathers up his amarda and they get pwnd. shep and half the crew dies, then you get to make a new character, with race, gender, class and name. then you go out and do stuff.
in control, you get a new character with all the customisation options. same party members, same story sans shep. anyway shepard reveals he is the reapers and when the treat arrives, he goes out to beat the f*ck out of the new threat. then the reapers get railed. the second half is the same, just diff dialoge
in synthesis ending is pretty much the same as control sans shepard, but with funky new gameplay and coming to terms with the fusion of life.
same gameplay.
