I'm never fond of that computer. She honestly hasn't done anything really useful. Joker romance will be perfect because he was with me since the first game. No computer can take care of Joker better than a human.

Yeah, I've wanted a Jokermance since ME1. In fact, I completely missed out on the romances in ME1 at first because I thought you could romance him, and was trying hard to do so. >.>

Bioware told us to screw off with his rejection at the citadel bar. Why he all of a sudden go for a robot instead of a human being like a normal person? Completely out of character. But at least that robot is dead. There is hope.

besides, he didn't even seem sad that the thing died. I think that's strong hope that we can romance him. ;)

Joker's first love has always been the Normandy. EDI is an extension of the Normandy and the being he spends by far the most time with. QED.

Why? I mean, I like the Samantha/EDI ship, but she and Joker work quite well together.

She's just a toaster. No emotions whatsoever. It doesnt make sense to make out with a machine.

And you're just a meatbag. In any case, I see sufficient emotion in her.

Those emotions aren't real. They're just programs. They lack chemistry. EDI is an annoying **** who doesn't have any use whatsoever anyways. Who needs her when Joker's the best damn pilot in the galaxy?

Shepard said it best. Machines emulate life, but aren't alive.

Human emotions are just chemicals. No less mechanical. This is simply anthropocentrism.

I don't care what you think of EDI, but no use? Get your facts straight. Hell, even Shepard him/herself can admit that EDI saved his/her ass over a dozen times.

And we've entered the realm of ship-motivated killfics.

But they AREN"T emotions. They're simply computer simulations of emotions. They aren't genuine or sincere.

So did many other characters. Another character, like Legion, could easily do what EDI do, and infinitely better. Legion is 10 times the robot EDI can ever hope to be.

They AREN'T emotions. They're simply chemical simulations of emotions. They aren't genuine or sincere.

See, I can make ridiculous statements too.

The only reason we have emotions is BECAUSE of those chemicals. Emotions, chemicals, and hormones can't be separated. My PC can never be emotional.

Synthetics have different means of creating emotions, but those emotions are no intrinsically less genuine.

Even so, it's incredibly shallow for Joker to suddenly like a computer simply because of her stupid sexbot.

Honestly yeah I thought Joker should've been an option. The laughable excuse he gives for not romancing Shep is pathetic. If he had simply said he wasn't attracted to her, or she was more of a sister, or friendzoned her? Sure whatever. But regs? Pffft.

And yeah Destroy has EDI becoming scrap metal anyway. So don't see why there couldn't have been an ShepardxJoker ship.

This.

EDI is dead anyways. It doesn't make sense for him to love something that's not even functional, AKA dead.

Did you play ME2? He was growing closer to her by the end there; actual sex would have been impossible, of course, but then it didn't have to be.
