:: Turret ::
Some may disagree with shock (1k force? hell yea) for the turret, but I like the CC, in my mind turret CC > turret
damage. I don't need the turret cryo ammo, since I'll be casting cryo
blast majority of the time.
Rockets for 2 things, 600+ damage in
a 2.5m radius every 3 secs, and a pointer to where enemies are. Now I know the minimum range of rockets are 5m, but you have shock for that, which has a 5m radius. Also, I've noticed rockets keep firing even if there are enemies within 5m, so the turret will shock and rocket.
Keep
popping turret to choke points or where the enemies are (or about to spawn, if you know
where), if there aren't any, watch where the rocket shoots (when
shooting walls) to and throw the turret again (1.5+ sec CD isnt gonna
hurt you).
Keep in mind the turret will die quite quickly, so keep notice of it and pop them out if needed.
:: Incinerate and Cryo Blast ::
You'd want to prioritize your turrets more than anything, but after that Cryo Blast everything like crazy. Specially Husks, Cannibals, Assault and Geth Troopers, when near death Incinerate to oblivion and listen to the sweet sound of ice breaking. It might not do as much damage as you might hope, but Cryo Explosion is helpful for chilling or freezing those around. Giving some slight CC. Also, Cryo Blast staggers shielded mooks. Also it increases enemies damage taken, helpful for boss-types.
Enemies might dodge Cryo Blast, but with a low CD, cast incinerate afterwards. It's a good source of damage, 600+. Or Incinerate everything, damage is damage anyways.
Now, imagine if Incinerate's 'Freeze Combo' actually works.
:: Weapons, Gears and Consumables ::
Keep CD at 170%+ (maybe 150), so you can keep casting powers efficiently. You won't be having major weapon damage bonus (only 5%), so keep that in mind.
I personally use a Talon, as you'll be at medium to close range most of the time. If not, Carnifex will do just fine. Graal and GPS might help for more stagger and such, though half to full second added to your cooldowns. Or anything light that you're comfortable using at close to medium range.
Mental Focuser V is very useful, as you'd want to keep adding to turret and incinerate damage. If you don't have it, well too bad, its uncommon anyways. Well, use a weapon amp if you want.
Lastly, when playing Gold, Power Amplifier really helps to boosts your turret and incinerate damage. Ammo, anything for stripping shields/barriers, or AP when using weapons with no penetration[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/crying.png[/smilie]. Though no one really uses consumables on silver, least bronze.
::::::::::::::::::
I play Gold exclusively, and I'm not saying this build is the best, or makes you the best. This is how I use QFE, and it gave me good results, and thought I'd share it. I'd make a video of it, showcasing my butt wiggling skills, but I'm too lazy right now. So make do with this vid I found.
If you've read through all that, thank you. Now, hate me if you want
