People really need to grow up and stop crying or freaking out about gay male shepard or lesbian female shepard people are gonna love who they wanna love it their business and ultimately not yours and shouldn't have the right to dictate how people should feel about others


Also Since every romance is a choice that the player can personally make you don't have to make shepard lesbian or gay so you have no right to complain about gay relationships in game when you don't ever have to go through them if you don't want to

There were a lot more arguments over this a few months back; I think most energy is being expended complaining about the ending, but I have seen a fair bit more homophobia being accepted in certain straight character support threads. This is my best guess.

Actually I'm tired of seeing videos of either cortezs or liara and people complaining about gayness or lesbianess in the game and all Romances are optional heck it is optional to even watch the videos yet they watch anyway to complain about people being gay or commander shepard when they can simply choose to have shepard not be gay it is uneccessary

I haven't seen any videos of complaining about gay romances in the game in youtube or anywhere.

Then you must be very lucky to have not encountered it ^^

It's mainly from non-Mass Effect players who downvote videos and stuff. I've not seen any (well, many) homophobic remarks on BSN... though I imagine the mods would crack down on those pretty quickly if they did.

One thing I noticed a lot early at launch was people who downright refused to speak to Cortez and/or picked Renengade responses because they were terrified of "ninjamancing" him. That seems to have vanished now though, I don't  think people were actually being homophobic mind.
