That's a separate issue. OF COURSE FemShep also needs more f/m options too. No one is arguing otherwise. Especially since of her four f/m romances, one dies and one leaves her for another woman. 

Can you imagine if a pregnant Tali showed up in ME3 with her Quarian boyfriend? BSN joy FOREVER!

Reposting. Pay attention people. This is realistic sexuality. Not this black and white bull I keep seeing. There is no reason why Ashley couldn't be a 1 or 2.

I am really puzzled about this. It happened to me in real life. I met this great girl on which I had a crush. Turned out she was lesbian. I had no clue. And, boy, what a homophobe I was at the time. How magnanimous of you. Have you thought about creating a personal ad to find a bi or gay friend? I'm sure they would be knocking each other down for a chance to be your friend.

For the record, I'm not saying the Femshep didn't get screwed over when it came to romances. It was really crappy what they did with Jacob and I think more effort should have been made in other romances. It seems to all fall in line with the ME team's overall treatment of Femshep, which is shoddy at best.

But as soon as someone starts telling me that options should have been taken away in favor of preserving headcanon or to make things more "exclusive" for one gender or the other, that's where I will disconnect.

If that bi man loves you and goes for you then what is the problem? Are you afraid that means he has to have other relations? I don't get it.

If it has no impact when you're playing as the opposite sex and you don't choose to flirt with them when you're playing as the same sex... no. Why should it?

The thread title is pretty confrontational but this topic does get hot all on its own very easily.

Romances are debated on the BSN because they are a Bioware staple and still comparatively rare in gaming.

And what else is going to be debated on a romance thread except... romances?

Nooooo thanks. I love me my gay options and I believe sexuality is fluid, but it would be immersion breaking for me if everyone swung both ways. I was very happy with what Bioware did with ME3, especially only making one of the virmire survivors bi.

What ticks me off the most is when something mentions something about not wanting same-sex anything in the game, and continues to say it's ok for him to act and say those things because his friend of a friend is gay and it's cool.

Why? If it has no impact on your game then why would it effect your immersion?
