How do we change it?
I find the enemies in my mods seem to give out around 180xp per kill which is a bit too much and also they sometimes drop what they have equipped even though i dont set it. this is bad when i'm creating tough enemies and they drop unique armor or weapons.

I have no idea about the XP.
Creature templates have an option to set each piece of equipment as equipped, droppable, and stealable. Check to make sure that these settings are appropriately checked on the creatures you are using.

yeah i know, if you have it selected to drop it will always drop. the problem i have is i have it set not to drop and every once in a while it randomly does.
i've tried setting treasure to invalid too but it doesnt help.

You have two choices to fix this:
1) Set "TS_OVERRIDE_EQUIPMENT" to be -1.0 on your creature. This will stop it from dropping stuff.
2) If you have a specific item that you never want to be dropped by any enemy, then add it to the BITM_base spreadsheet and set the "DoNotDrop" flag to 1 and compile this into an M2DA (GDA).
EDIT: I changed #1 above because after looking at the toolset it seems the only way to guarentee no equipment dropping is to set the random chance to a negative number. Otherwise the system will attempt to pull a default number out of the autoscale table... lame.
