Back before Resurgence I was really good at headshots but then I used the Kishock, I dropped the Infiltrator class and lost all of my headshot skills.
Now that I have all my Rares maxed I want to try the Infiltrator again. What's the best way to get my headshot skills back?
I was thinking about taking a HI with a Viper in to bronze for awhile.
Any other suggestions are welcome.
Thank in advance.
Best way to get headshot skills?

Use a single shot sniper. It'll force discipline.

1. host with good connection
2. host with good connection
3. host with good connection
4. obviously don't use weapons that can't land a headshot.

To clarify, go mantis in silver with no bonus damage. This is so you can't bodyshot enemies. You'll pop heads or die.

Talon with scope. It gives you a little wiggle room so you'll still get head pops if you miss slightly. This will slowly train you to take quick effective headshots. I find after using the talon I'm better at headshots even with single shot weapons... you would think it would be the opposite and you would get lazier but somehow it works.

Talon and Paladin with scope and without ammo capacity mod. You either do headshots or get shot.

Face classic with Adept Bots or better.
Sorry, wrong game. That was what helped me getting quick-scoping skills, though.
For ME 3, Viper, Saber, Carnifex or Paladin for basic training, Mantis, Widow or Black Widow on Silver for scoping.

Practice...
...And ALWAYS aim for the head regardless of what weapon/race/class you're playing or enemy you're shooting. I know some don't have headshot bonuses but it keeps you in practice which is what allows you to keep your mad headshotting skills.

I'd suggest using the Viper, for a number of reasons. First, it's an effective weapon on its own, so you won't be holding your team back. Second, because it's a semi-auto, you'll have time to see things like "Oh, I was aiming a little too far to the left." Third, it has a larger clip/reserve than most sniper rifles, so missed shots won't cause several trips to the ammo boxes each wave. Fourth, also because it's a semi-auto, you'll have the opportunity to place follow-up shots on a missed target, closing the gap somewhat between mistake and correction.
Beyond that, I would suggest recording your gameplay if you can. Being able to see where you were actually aiming when you fired can be very helpful. If you can't I wouldn't worry about it too much, but compared to while you're in the thick of things, it's a lot easier to see your own performance from a more objective viewpoint when you're watching a match after the fact.

Pick a character that will make the break in easier, AA with Stasis, maybe put 3 into that slot, it will freeze the enemy while you have target practice, it's how I started MP on Bronze, I prefer the Carnifex, put a scope and extended barrel.
Human Soldier with Adrenaline Rush also gives you time, pick a sniper weapon you like.

Use the mantis, its less forgiving if you get body or leg shots.... it'll force you to go for headshots.

shock the enemies with overload or energy drain, while they stagger you have plenty of time to line up the headshot

Paladin & a asari with stasis . Freeze then head shot, now I can do it on pretty much any class with out the stasis.
Just gets you used to aiming at head height all the time, and if you miss then you got two more shots in the chamber .

The raptor does a pretty good job of popping heads.

Use a multishot sniper rifle like the Viper or the Valiant. They do little damage, but stagger the enemy. Try this on easier difficulties and you will improve.

A high damage gun with decent 3+ clip
On a class with ability to hold enemy still for second
I personally play alot of AJ with Scoped Saber. Reave stagger and headshot easy mode. Usually get heheadshot gold medal by round 5

I had success with the Viper. I sucked hard with a Mantis, because they like to move laterally on me.

The scopes on AR's and Heavy Pistols make it easier to get headshots than most sniper rifles. Of the SR's, the valiant and javelins are the two easiest to get headshots with. Of course, the easiest way to get headshots is to use the Reegar

Headshot are important, but before you focus on headshots make sure EVERY shot you fire is at least hitting the target. Once you get your hit accuracy high you can focus on shooting enemies in the head.
I always "pop shot" with sniper rifles because I like to see the area so I don't get flanked or screwed because of "scopeloving." Put the small reticule over enemies head area zoom in and soon as you zoom adjust for brains and fire! Works like a charm. DON"T FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON"T SPEND MORE THAN 1 SECOND ADJUSTING YOUR SHOT. I've lost entire games because someone is scopingloving up a husk and trying to adjust to its running around, completely ignoring everything else around. Besides that have fun, I don't always get headshots, but I'm not going to miss my shot either.

Do all the Sniper Rifles have this weird auto-aim because when I aim-in it targets a enemy that I wasn't aim at?
