Basically, don't play above bronze unless you are prepared to solo. You should not have any expectation that your team will survive, because most of the time, they won't.
Every now and then, you find a team that works well together. And you think that's what's going to happen when you queue up. But it isn't. More than likely, you'll spend what little leisure time you have in your life feeling frustrated and aggravated.
I'm going to do one of two things going forward; I haven't decided yet. Either I will uninstall so that I won't be tempted, or I will start kicking a lot more and stop leaving lobbies when my kick votes fail. Force people to choose between the jerk and the noob with the Incisor I.
Noobs on silver make this game not fun

Sooo... ragequit? Need specifics to discuss further. Yes, there are people who don't belong on Silver. There are also people who were just having a bad match and wipe on wave 5. They might do well the rest of the day or benefit from someone else's expertise.

I'm with the OP with this one, only bump the difficulty up to gold. I'm all for booting people who are obviously unprepared for the task ahead.

I've considered this fact common knowledge since the first week of launch.

I rarely have trouble with public silvers. I've duoed silver before with someone in a public even. Granted, there aren't a lot of people I see in silver that I can do that with, but still, if you can hold your own in gold and you have one other decent person in silver the other two can easily be noobs.
I have no issue teaching noobs the ropes. What I do have issue with is really terrible teamwork and decisions from noobs who don't listen or watch the more experienced players. If you don't want to play with a team, stick with single player.

Think I'm well pass the stage of being frustrated at bad players. If it fails, it fails.
I know many players play to win (the match). Just try and enjoy the matches the way you enjoy playing, OP.
I always enjoy shooting at stuff, so in a failed match, I just shoot, even at (enemy) corpses.

I don't have a problem with people being noobs. I do have a problem with people being dicks.
I just want to talk politely to noobs.
"You wanna try out the Incisor you just unlocked? Go for it. I'm sure you'll switch after the match. Yeah ignore that guy screaming about noobs and pwnage and how your loadout is made of garbage. Have fun."

Are we really discussing silver? I can carry a silver with no issue even with my manifest.

You may want to clarify a little... I can understand your frustration with noobs not working together with you and others but let me tell you I cannot solo on bronze but I am still a great team player on silver... Just remember not all of us are "Pro Leet Level ME3 Gods" like yourself, maybe take the time to explain to a noob what they are doing wrong. As far as kicking or leaving a game I think from the short time I have been here and what I have read you are in the minority on this one...

I am getting a bit tired of people whining about others on these forums. People should play where ever they want on public servers. If you want to get picky host a private match or invite your friends.
If you are so good then play your game, help them out, or ignore them. If your team is so bad the match won't last 10 minutes and then you can change lobbies.
Get off your high horse. They paid the same thing you did to play the game.

I usually have no problems.
The game is for fun. I don't sweat it much if newbs want to play silver. If it's my room I won't kick anyone for that. I do send a message that you're probably going to drop dead...a LOT...and I'm not going to cross the map to come get you or spend the game being your personal medic.

I take them all the time, join randoms often, it sharpens my skill and I offer suggestions, if they follow them great, if they don't they die, that simple.....vast majority of the time they follow as maybe no one bothered to give them basic instructions, this way they will pass it on to others and at some point the issues some have today will not be in the future.
I would like to think you have played with people as good or better than you, send a friend request, I did, works perfect, I play with them some and sometimes I just join whatever. What is really fun is to take an experienced friend into a game, assign one of the people you do not know to each of you.
On silver my extraction is 98%+, I play every day.
There are people in Bronze that belong in silver, I saw that yesterday using a level 1 Adept I had reset, I see people in silver that can do well in gold, some gold belong in bronze:)
The system itself is broken so we have to make the best of it, a new player can go camping to get the equipment up, then they feel they are qualified to play any level, the equipment is only a small part of being successful in a game.
I mean no offence whatsoever, if we are playing silver, we should be able to carry most teams, if not maybe we need more practise, god even if they do objectives or act as meat shields, they will learn and those who are proficient can get the job done, everybody wins and we get the credits we want.

I'm not great myself, but I'm not going to rage quit. I hate gearing up for a gold match only to have the leader die in RD 1 because of Rambo tactics, then quit the game.

If a guy enjoys silver let him enjoy it. That means he will probably enjoy MP longer than those of you who only enjoy gold. Sounds to me like op has had bad luck with RANDOMS.

i agree OP i was playing gold yesterday with three newbs and instead of staying together fighting the reapers they just ran around like idiots and died every two seconds. we made it to wave 5 with my score over 70k and everyone else below 10k

The last time I played a random silver match, the lead scorer scored around 66,000 and last place was around 63,000. Everyone had the 5 revive medal, and we played as team until the extraction, when we all started point whoring with missle launchers.
