 I was too scared to do this the first time around but now im curious. When you invite her into the cabin for the interview and you say "im okay with that" when she makes the comment about following you home. Does that have negative impact on your relationship with Liara? What the line says and what Shepard actually says seem different to me...it seems like harmless flirting...but I dont want to screw the Liara one up. The lets keep it professional seems cold and unnecesary. Can I say this and not screw things with Liara up?

That line doesn't affect your romance with Liara.

Good question, I think it will impact in your relationship with liara, so I suggest you to reload an earlier save and tell her to stay in her place. lol, in my first playthrough I didn't inv her to the normandy, and in the second I told her to keep things professional. She's lucky that I didn't dropped her on the first asteroid I come across XD

EDIT: it doesn't impact? oh well, I stand corrected then.

That line doesn't affect your romance with Liara.

Ok but out of curiosity. I don't want to do it or anything. But if I am in a relationship with Liara how exactly could I screw it up by talking with Diana? When you choose that line she says all she needed was a good interview..."tonight". Does that mean she will contact me again sometime and then give me a real chance to screw up the Liara relationship? I have read something about her coming to the cabin at the romance point of the game. But how exactly do you cause that while being with Liara if that line has no effect?

Yes, she will come to your room again. But if you already look in with Liara (the citadel date scene) that scew line won't appear.

I also notice I don't seem to be able the initiate the "kick diana off the ship" dialogue now that I chose the flirty dialogue. She just keeps saying commander instead of asking if we need to talk.

Yes, she will come to your room again. But if you already look in with Liara (the citadel date scene) that scew line won't appear.

i did this but my fem!Shepard was with Samantha and the post-rannoch scene with Diana if you do not romance anyone that i know of was the professonal one, where she thanks you for the interview ans leaves, and i flirted with Allers.

it won't affect your relationship with liara. i did the same thing on my first walkthrough and it didn't affect my relationship but on my second walkthrough i told her to keep it professional.

It doesn't affect your relationship. If you sleep with Diana before you lock your relationship with Liara, Liara will confront you about it. When she confronted me about it my heart sank and felt really guilty afterwards. So I haven't done it since.
