There are some references that adults may get, but kids wouldn't, such as the song the Flim-Flam brothesr sings that's a nod to the Music Man, and by extension, the Monorail song from the Simpsons, This Day Aria, sung by the character Cadance, or rather two Cadance's. The parts sung by real Cadance is named an Authentic Cadence in musical literature while the parts sung the imposter are called a Deceptive Cadance. There's a pony that has a likeness very similar to The Big Lebowski in one episode. There's a bunch more but my brain is tired and can't think straight right now.

Yes but do they have the guts to do this?

Somehow I doubt it

I think there might be a few Animaniacs references in FiM. That show is legendary though.

You mean the drunken assh*le who jumps up and screams at the TV while everyone else is trying to mingle and have a good time?

Yeah, I find them pretty obnoxious.

Not really talking about references. adult jokes and innuendos. Things that would go over a kids head but stuff that would make an adult go.... wtf is this doing in a kids show? Animaniacs was full of them hence my video.

Didn't even have to look hard for it. It pops up on Google images when you type in "Brony."

Too bad that a lot of their fans are like this.

If forcibly removing my eyes through the use of a rusty spoon could make me unsee this, I would do it.

You must be new to the internet. If you have safe search off, and you google ANYTHING, you're going to find some pretty messed up stuff.

Yup safe search off = searching toast means getting something nasty.  Only the internet can make toast disturbing.

There's no nudity in that picture. The man's completely covered at a convention. What is disturbing is seeing a full grown man dressed up like a pony in a bubblegum latex bodysuit.

Found this, though I think a few of the things listed were just that person's weird perception of those parts.

I fail to see how that's any different from someone dressing up as Darth Vader to go see Star Wars.

That pic. What has been seen... EEEEeeugh I'll deal with it. I've seen FiM cosplay, but nothing like that.

Most just wear wigs, or simply don't cosplay.

You're defending too hard man. Also people dressing up like Vader look ridiculous too.

You're never gonna see me dressed as a pony, but I'm just saying. There's a lot of double standards when it comes to bronies.

As a brony, lemme clarify, the show is targeted towards little kids and their families, as Lauren Faust intended.

Many bronies make the mistake of saying that they are the bigger fan base, this is false. Its been proven that MANY more little girls are watching the show than bronies, though bronies do make up a sizable portion of the fan base.

Because of this, the show's writers have incorporated more adult themes into the show as well as dropping hints and references that go over a child's head but are appreciated by adults, an example being the cider episode and the "Star Wars VI:A New Hope" style ending to Season 2 Episode 2.

The show is appreciated and watched due to its wonderful animation, writing, music, and just the general idea that its a show based on positivity.

There are those out there that watch it just because they believe it to be "trolly" but there are very few of those out there.

Figured I'd clarify. Thats all from me.
