Like I said earlier, Rannoch Reaper and the Hades cannon aren't the best examples of reaper strengths and weaknesses because they are modified to fit the gameplay section, therfore they aren't a good representation.DEATHSCOPE wrote...

no it was not, go back and look, it is not even shaped like any Reaper we have seen before, and in the ME3 universe, Reapers only come in two formsDEATHSCOPE wrote...

I only ever remember Hackett telling me the Reapers couldn't be beaten conventionally. Then again, Hackett isn't really a bright light when it comes to tactics, seeing how spectacularly he lost against the Reaper forces, compared to the turians.
In any case, conventional victory would've been possible if BioWare hadn't been married on the idea of a magical Reaper off-switch device they pulled out of their asses.
Anderson says it too.
Obviously conventional victory would have been possible if BioWare decided it to be. They dictate the rules.

The same kind you kill in Rannoch and Tuchanka.

go back and play through the game, it is NEVER refered to as a Reaper, and only refered to as a Hades Cannon, this is because it is just an AA gun using Reaper tech.Khajiit Jzargo wrote...

Well you have the final fleet cutscene and codex to extrapolate info from. But I'm just trying to point out that these sections aren't neccicaraly consistent with the lore because they need it to work for a gameplay section.DEATHSCOPE wrote...

Wikis are not a valid source of information (as they will tell you in University), as anyone can edit them to support there point (as well as they are writen by fans which are often misinformed). I could just as easily go on the ME wiki and change it so it says Miranda is a trans-sexual, that does not make it trueKhajiit Jzargo wrote...

I suppose that was the point. Writers seem to want to force us into using the Crucible, so they keep telling us we can't win without it, and they don't show many instances of our fleets fighting, only reports in the codex.DEATHSCOPE wrote...
