This is the worst part. BW bent over backwards to satisfy their customer base without completely caving to a vocal minority and still we see these comparisons of a completely fictional and apparently totally beneficial situation to some of the worst atrocities in human history. All because some people didn't get their preferred ending with a thoroughly evil villain they could destroy without further thought and fly off into the sunset. When this kind of kerfluffle happens over soemthing this trivial, it makes me despair for real-life politics.

I actually think ME3 is a better psychometric test than all those pseudoscientific bobbins people get made to do when they start a new job or course. They could just ask if you're Red, Green, Blue, or Refuse?

Um, since when do you need informed consent on the other two options? How do they effect everyone (other than Synthetics with Destroy)? And you are missing the point-you need high EMS to get Synthesis option available. I
Anyway, I would not call it evil, but I do get your point. Then again the three choices are all stupid.

Ethics aside, I find synthesis makes no sense. (or less than the other 3)
I know i wouldn't want my DNA altered like that.
Would you prefer to be dead? Would you prefer to kill another race so you could preserve your DNA? Would you prefer to subject the galaxy to the tyranny of Reaper Shep? The question is not do you prefer synthesis per se, but do you prefer it in comparison to the other choices.

Cuz, first Bioware said that being different is a good thing (ME1/2) and then suddenly everyone being the same is a good thing.
Synthesis creates more diversity.

The synthesis ending changes ALL life in the galaxy, WITHOUT permission. And this is changed for FOREVER.
If bringing upon the extinction of all natural organic life in the Milky Way Galaxy isn't evil, then what is?
So why is bioware trying to make this ending be the best outcome, and making it look morally right?
If some man invented mechanical body parts that were superior then organic ones, is it right for him to gas people, and do surgery on them against their will, to remove certain inferior organic parts to be replaced by mechanical ones? No it is not. But bioware is saying that something like this is good.
It doesn't matter if this man has good intentions, and that what he invented can be used for good, but you know what they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. It doesn't matter if this man thinks what he is doing is right, if he is forcing it upon people instead of giving people a choice...then it's evil.....period.
So it is wrong for the bioware writers to think that just because the galaxy is synthesized because of shepards good intentions, somehow makes it morally right and not evil.
What do you think?
Edit: Also remember guys, the dude who really wants your shepard to do Synthesis is an EVIL AI. So that right there isn't a good sign.

Control only subjects the universe to a Reaper powered tyranny. Destroy simply causes Geth genocide. No biggies. Shepard was looking for that informed consent when he cured the genophage and blew up 300k Batarians, too, right? Oh wait, he just blew up the Batarians because he thought it was necessary to simply delay the Reapers and when questioned on the genophage told Hackett "Well I did it, and no one can stop it."
