THEN META GAME. ENSURE YOU CAN'T MAKE PEACE.

TOO ****ING BAD BIOWARE.

What is this... meta-gaming? My Shepards don't know how to do this.

Meta-gaming is gaming the game (obviously).  The Geth can't be killed by Destroy if the Quarians already took care of them.  I don't know how to get rid of EDI though.

edi's response to you destroy the geth just shows how much of a machine she is.    she didn't care that siding with the geth would kill millions of innocent children. CHILDREN. she only cared that you didn't side with a synthetic race. and thinks you are racist for it

Yeah, after that conversation I felt a lot less guilty about my plan to kill her off.

If you point that out, she makes the point that the Quarian admirals are also responsible for endangering their non-combatants by arming civilian ships.

Which doesn't invalidate Shepard's point in any way. Either way, EDI came off as being overly passive-aggressive and unreasonable to me, and made it that much easier for my Shepard to not care about her inevitable demise by red space magic.

It didn't help that EDI was litterally the only person on the entire ship who had this particular opinion.

I'm sorry...The geth were to let the quarian kill them off because quarians bought there families, who are armed with weapons, to war?

simply put but yes, i will not sacrifice a childs life to save a toaster, hellz to the no

and i mean sadly i will not condemn a innocent child to death because of it's admiral

the geth sided with the reapers, they choose their side and lost, simple

So I take it synthesis isn't acceptable by your conundrum of philosophy.

Didn't know the belief in good and evil is some childish old fashioned notion.

Good and evil is not a childish notion... Seeing the world in black and white is.

That's because of how the two paths were treat.

If you choose to save the Geth, Shepard still tries to get the Quarians to back down.

If you choose to save the Quarians, Shepard allows the Quarians to annihilate the Geth.

This has absolutely nothing to do with anything I said.

I see in shades of grey, but very dark grey and dull white still exsist in my worldview.

That said, being an absolutist about anything seems really dumb, espically for stupid things that don't even affect you that somebody else is doing that harms nobody.

This made me sad.

At least I'll never have to see it. Instead I get the  worthy "not many organics would trust a synthetic race."

hmm may have got lost in the pyramid. well either way edi doesn't have to trust my shep. i trusted her but when it came to choosing between geth or quarians(which fyi i choose peace) i would choose the quarians because of the fact they have innocent children and civilians. not because machine or organic

but i defended edi every time through me2 and me3, my point is though that she seems more pissed or whatever at the fact that i choose the quarians instead of a synthetic race, like the only reason i didn't choose the geth is because they were synthetic, but that is not the case, it is like no matter what race it was or reasons, she would prefer the geth survive even if they were the aggressors, that is just how she came off to me

Biesed...It the quarians that forced the entire conflict. How can something that's true be biased. Who broght there child to the conflict? The quarians. Who armed there lives ships? The quarians. Not even the majority of the quarians  wanted this war, it was the admerals.  How is it biesed at all?

No opinion from the Qurians. We are presented only with tidbits of information of the Geth.

The problem is you failed to see that the geth are innocent as well. Just as innocent as the families being force in this war.

She IS right. The only reason I see to pick the Quarians is because they are organics. You warn them, but they still continue to fight, even when Koris could have taken the entire civilian fleet out of the battlefield and cry "We surrender".

...Rannoch really didn't improve my views of Quarian intelligence. At all.

If anything during a Reaper invasion would be a good time to ask the Geth for aid. If they refuse? Fine go to war like morons but at least ask first. They know Tali has interaction with the Geth and if you brought Legion aboard they know there's a non-hostile geth. Send Geth sympathizers to Rannoch and see if anything can be worked out. Have a test run. Only send expendable people if you're that worried about Geth treachery.

Nope. Can't do that. Instead KILL THEM ALL! EVEN IF WE HAVE TO THROW GUNS ON OUR KIDS BUSES AND MAKE THEM TARGETS! EVEN IF THIS MAKES US MORE VULNERABLE TO THE REAPERS!

Darwin Award material.

It is emotionally manipulative. Look at her response if the Quarians are killed. There is a clear bias involved.

We had 2 game wurth of opinions from the quaian add that the civilans of the quarians, the majority, did not want this war. This was stated over and overagain. If you want to be angry at anyone for this, it's the admerals.
