As the title suggests, if you could bring help from any sci-fi universe to battle the Reapers, wich universe would you pick? and why?

Personally, i'd go with Warhammer 40k. Cuz the mental image of Space Marines roflstomping husks is just too good to pass up.

the point of this thread apart from just lulz: The Reapers are declared unbeatable by conventional means, atleast by us in our cycle. So what other sci-fi universe would you bring in to beat em conventionally?

For ground forces? Definitely the Imperium from 40k.

For space I'd bring in the Galactic Empire of Star Wars fame. Why not 40k? Because those guys take longer to go from point A to point B in the galaxy. Plus it creates this epic moment:

"I'm sorry Mr. Starchild, I'm afraid your Reaper friends will find the Death Star...FULLY OPERATIONAL...MWAHAHAHA!"

Imperial Fleets from Star Wars... although the ewok's are in interesting idea, we already know they are capable of taking out heavily armed forces with those sticks.

I'd probably call in the imperium of man from warhammer 40k. they'd probably toast the reapers (of course since everything is rediculous in scale in wh40k)

star wars seems to be a popular choise, i can see why. heh allthough i wonder what would happen if Jedi's were indoctrinated....then again...can Jedi's be indoctrinated? ugh, this is gonna keep me sleepless
