The Tyranids from 40k fame would also be a big LULzor battle with the Reapers.

Since everything about them is organic, Reaper logic about organics vs synthetics would fly out the window. Poor things would explode from trying to...COMPREHEND it all.

Either the First Ones from B5 or Unicron from G1 Transformers.

-Xenomorphs - problem with deployment and breeding
-BORG - you never know with them
-Daleks - they will exterminate everyone
-ORI (stargate) - their ships blast everything on their way also have indoctrination devices
-Species 8472 (startrek) - pretty much the same as with daleks

looking at that list none of them really could help us :D

Normally I would say Wh40K for this, but there is one pressing concern: EVERYONE IN THIS UNIVERSE IS A HERETIC TO THEM.

They will kill all the aliens (most of who I like) and then enslave us. That's just the Imperium, and it gets worse from there.

No, I have a better idea: Bolos

Basically, in the later marks, giant, self-aware, tanks that are loaded with shielding and firepower enough to give the Reapers a big one finger salute. Even "malfunctioning" units can still remember who NOT to shoot and beat the ever loving crap out of the enemy.

Heh, as much as I love the AC franchise, the Assassins wouldn't be of much use against the Reapers :/

Starcraft 2 - Full sized Terran battle-cruisers should just be able to one shot reaper capitol ships.

Ok, how about a super team? On my team, I'd have:

- Solar (Phil Seleski)
- Superman (and the rest of JL for support)
- The Hulk (I bet he could solo a reaper)
- Popeye
- Chester Cheetah

I've always dreamed of what a Progenitor Dreadnaught cannon from Homeworld 2 could do to a Reaper capital ship. I'm thinking insta-kill. But then, if the Progenitors existed in the ME universe, their hyperspace network would have been the Relays, and their sudden demise would have been their creation of the Catalyst and becoming the first Reapers.

Star Trek's Borg would also be fun, if only for the fun of seeing who can assimilate the other one faster.  But then, if the Borg existed in the ME universe, they would be the consequence of choosing Synthesis, and the goal of the Reapers.
