Normally I would say Wh40K for this, but there is one pressing concern: EVERYONE IN THIS UNIVERSE IS A HERETIC TO THEM.

They will kill all the aliens (most of who I like) and then enslave us. That's just the Imperium, and it gets worse from there.

No, I have a better idea: Bolos

Basically, in the later marks, giant, self-aware, tanks that are loaded with shielding and firepower enough to give the Reapers a big one finger salute. Even "malfunctioning" units can still remember who NOT to shoot and beat the ever loving crap out of the enemy.

Bolos you say..

Starcraft 2 - Full sized Terran battle-cruisers should just be able to one shot reaper capitol ships.

In your dreams!  Could you imagine a Reaper capital ship getting taken out by a handful of mutalisks?  I don't think so.

Forerunner. The war would be over about 30 seconds after the Forerunner find out they have competition for top spot in the galaxy.

Hey now, the Imperium doesn't  *enslave* people, it merely brings them into the infinite wisdom and light of the GOD-EMPRAH. It just expects some heavy labor to fuel His mighty war machine in return. That's all really...

Picard, because he would point out in explicit detail how idoitic the catalyst's argument is, and then convince him to undo what he has done, or beat him outright.

After a Cain one-shotting a Destroyer and a Geth Dreadnought surviving against the Mirgrant Fleet but a Sovereign unable to stand up against 4+ Dreadnoughts, I highly doubt any notion of Reaper credibility.

Besides, Mutalisks don't attack in HANDFULS.

They attack in SWARMS. And everyone knows mass muta is so OP.

I forgot The Q from Star Trek. They'd mock the Reapers for their puny, insignificant minds and short lifespans before transforming them all into amoebas or collectible christmas tree ornaments with the snap of a finger.

Honor Harrington. If you get the reference, no explanation required. If you don't, well nevermind.

Mad props friend. Huge fan of the Honor Harrington series :) Every time I play one of my femShep chars, I'm reminded of Honor Harrington.
Course, I'd love to also see a mix of the Battlestar Galactica universe. Imagine the reapers indoctrinating the cylons to have a cylon/geth/reaper triumverate. Granted Tricia Helfer would get a LOT of work talking to herself playing conversations between EDI and Number 6.  Imagine the war room sessions with Admiral Hackett and Commander Adama.

More likely: Picard gets spiked on dragons teeth and turned into a husk, and Riker crashes the Enterprise into a planet after taking tremendous damage from a 20-year-old corvette-class ship with twelve crew that the Enterprise outweighs about 50 to 1.

That and Battle-cruisers are MUCH bigger than mutalisks... and have much more powerful weapons.
Point is in a ship v. ship battle the Terran BC will give the reapers a hard time or even just one shot them, I'm refering to the fact that the whole ship is pretty much a huge cannon.

Edit: speaking of ships being huge cannons: sins of a solar empire rebelion. The TEC rebel titan WILL make short work of any reaper.... period.

This.  The Reapers have to kill them twice... each.  Plus, they'll just exterminate every planet the Reapers are on, taking the Reapers with it.  And since their goal is to exterminate all life anyway, there's by definition no collateral damage.

Avon from Blake's 7, just to see what insult he'd come up with for TIM and the Reapers.

Ok, how about a super team? On my team, I'd have:

- Solar (Phil Seleski)
- Superman (and the rest of JL for support)
- The Hulk (I bet he could solo a reaper)
- Popeye
- Chester Cheetah

Ha Ha! "Hulk Smash puny Harbringer!"

I think The Doctor should be recruitable. He would make for an interesting dynamic in the game since he refuses to use guns.

Over Powered : Any faction from 40k, especially the Imperium, Forerunner, Q

Powerful, still overpowered, but at least a little fair: UNSC, Covenant,  any Gundam faction (pick your poison, or cure in this case)

Fair: Terrans, Zerg, Protoss, Kushun, Taiden

Even without Rebellion, the Unity could probably indoctrinate the Reapers into going insane and killing each other off... even one of their ships can do it to an entire planet all by itself.  And the Vasari can make relays.

The TEC have planetary shielding, something the Reapers have probably never had to face before.

The Greenflies. Because I'd like to see what the Reapers would do when they're supposed to be protecting organic civilizations from being completely wiped out by synthetics if you unleash terraforming machines capable of destroying the entire universe.

Wait, that's not very helpful at all, is it....

a) Galactus would boil up those Reapers and gobble them down

B) Robotech - The SDF-1 took on a fleet of 6 million spaceships and won.

^This. And he should bring along a bunch of Vortigons too.

Also, how about The Oman in a ground troop support role.  They bring their weapon mods and biomods.

Space:
-The ancients from stargate. Just imagine thousands of drones and puddle-jumpers tearing up a reaper fleet. The replicators could also be useful if you could get a working kill-switch in them
-Colonial fleet before the Cylons attacked
-Imperial fleet from Star Wars
-Federation/Klingon/Romulan joint fleet from DS9

Ground:
-Special forces from Old Man's War.
-Covenant from Halo
-Chell and her portal gun
-Ewoks, Tauntauns, and Wampas
