This is not so much a question as an observation don't know if anyone else has seen this. Now when I make a new armor piece from scratch, it comes in one tint whatever color it is. Sometimes I have noticed that instead of making a new armor from scratch in the toolset, if I duplicate an armor and then change its appearance, its not always the same tint as if i were to create it from scratch. Example

SO let's say I wanted to make a new enchanter's robe. If I went ahead and created it from scratch, its going to be this gray, blue tint or whatever color by default the material is. Now I want to make another one, but this time I use something like a tevinter robe, duplicate it, and then somply change its appearance. This enchanter's robe I made from a duplication of the tevinter robe though has the same material but is very different in color, i.e. its red and purple. Its just tinted completely differently. Has anyone else encountered this? Wonder what causes it.

Two identical models (i.e. variations) that are set to the same material type should have an identical tint, unless you have specified a tint override. I'm not seeing what you seem to be describing. Can you take some screenshots?
