Hey guys i was thinking about a whole day and i think a dlc for Da2 wud be great. It should be a dlc that shud allow the player to live the life of a templar. The templar can be both good or evil. The game might not have any major connection with the Kirkwall situation. I want to know what it really means to be a templar.
Maybe becoz im a bit more religious.
What do u guys think? Feel free to comment.Posted Image

Nice idea, but Bioware have already said they aren't making anymore DLC for DA2.

That being said, I agree that it would be cool to see/experience what life is like for a Templar, to give us a deeper understanding (and perhaps a little more sympathy) towards them. But you never know, maybe we'll be given that chance in DA3, although not necessarily by the protagonist actually being a Templar (I'm all for having that as an option though), but maybe instead we'd get to experience it in the form of flashbacks or small segments in-game. For example:

Say we had a Templar companion (I'm gonna use Cullen as an example to set the scene), during a conversation he mentions how and why he came to be in Orlais (or wherever the game is set), you're then taken into a flashback scene and you get to play as Cullen during his time in Kirkwall prior to killing Meredith (so that you get to see how bad things were in the Gallows) and do a bunch of mini quests, like stopping some dodgy Templar from raping/torturing a mage, training his recruits, killing a bunch of demons after a Harrowing goes wrong etc. Then you'd get to play as him directly after the events of DA2 during which you'd get to find out what sort of trouble (if any) he got into for aiding Hawke in killing Meredith, perhaps the rebel Templars came to kill/aprehend him so he has to escape Kirkwall with his life and make his way to Orlais to inform the Divine directly or whatever.

Yup. Playing as Cullen has been brought up a couple of times already. Hopefully, BWE has thrown some consideration towards it.

Cullen's is an established character (with his own issues well-known) in an established setting. All that's left is Cullen's own story.

Maybe they could make a new flash game, maybe more like a CYOA type than the Journeys/Legends type.

Although, I'm thinking such a dlc would be more appropriate for DA3.
