Maybe becoz im a bit more religious.
What do u guys think? Feel free to comment.
Say we had a Templar companion (I'm gonna use Cullen as an example to set the scene), during a conversation he mentions how and why he came to be in Orlais (or wherever the game is set), you're then taken into a flashback scene and you get to play as Cullen during his time in Kirkwall prior to killing Meredith (so that you get to see how bad things were in the Gallows) and do a bunch of mini quests, like stopping some dodgy Templar from raping/torturing a mage, training his recruits, killing a bunch of demons after a Harrowing goes wrong etc. Then you'd get to play as him directly after the events of DA2 during which you'd get to find out what sort of trouble (if any) he got into for aiding Hawke in killing Meredith, perhaps the rebel Templars came to kill/aprehend him so he has to escape Kirkwall with his life and make his way to Orlais to inform the Divine directly or whatever.
