Why do people care that synthetics rebel against their creators? No synthetic has ever wiped out their creators and then every spec of organic matter in the galaxy.

Or tried.

Or ever presented that potential motivation.

Or succeeded, most of all.

You are simply speculating based on nothing the authors decided to write for us.  Who knows what happened way back?  It hasn't been written yet.  I hope the writers have Leviathan mention every AI in the history of everything has ultimately rebelled.  LOL

Don't care if it does.

Since I would simply refute using the exact post you quoted.

It would be just as irrelevant then.  The writers left it open ended for a reason and made the Catalyst say what he says.  You are not going to get a leg up on the people who invented the universe.  LOL!

P.S. The Citadel AI actually mentions the inevitability of conflict and his wish to join the Geth to wipe out organics and safeguard its own existence.

Oh I do.

Not my fault the analogy was stupid. And wrong.

You clearly don't get it the the analogy is based on perspective at all.

I get that is was meant as a point on perspective.

But using color-blindness as the proving analogy was stupid and wrong.

It calls delusion...

How is it a delusion to understand a machine always does what it's programed to do?

There is nothing to understand about Catalyst, there is only delusion of choice. If you agreed with Catalyst logic and accept his way of thinking  - of preserving Reapers, than you are deluded. Reapers never came and ask us about their goals - they were first who pull the trigger and by their superiority have no reason to give you power over them in any way.
It´s simple as it is ... indoctrination itself is still in motion - if you like it or notB)

It's a cheap solution for terrible writing...

"The creator will always rebel against its creator"

Well... no **** Sherlock!

Cheap and stupid.

Get a leg up?

Whatever. Not my fault they can't tell a story competently.

Pretty sure it doesn't. Since, you know, it only wants to stay alive, rather than pursue a genocidal campaign.

1.It was never up to the catalyst todecide his motivations. It was his creators.
2.What ever it beleives, even if it's proven wrong doesn't matter. It will still being do what it is doing. Machines just do what they are programed to do. That's all you need to understand. If it's programed to thinl pears are apples, it will forever think pears are apples till it's changed.

3.The only choice that in anyway agree with it's belief is synthesis. That is what it want s to do. That is the only time you agree with it at all.

No, it means based on you eyes, blue is still blue.

Based on defects in your eyes, yout brain tells you things that are false. You ate the thing that is broken, blue light is still blue light. You would, effectively, be wrong in saying it's red.

What if there is a being with a completly different color spectum with there eyes ands see blue as black. You not getting that what you see does not mean what everyone sees. And event cn happen and people have have serveral differentconcept of what happened. Just look at our race, we have several different moralities and conflict of the world. You simply looking at the world in a too denotative perspective. Black is no always black nor white is always white. I some on with a different color spectrum then we do comes up. they would see that black as a different color.

And this is the point you should have made from the beginning.

It maybe the same wavelenght but there is no way of finding out if it is interpreted the same way in every Brain...Everything is interpreted by our brain...the wavelenght you assign blue to it ...can be assigned with the color red by me ....we know the brain can be tricked or be inaccurate or simply being false...that´s were perspective comes into play....

Strawmen.

But we know that people without a defect see the colour as blue.

People WITH the defect see it as red.

The people WITh the defect are effectively broken in some capacity.

No it's not. What you not getting is that our senses don't show us everything. We only see what they are capable of catching. If our sense are capable of catching more or less, it would be a completly differnt thing we are observing. We would not even be taking about blue if our race could only see blue or white. And if we could see more then color, would blue stay the blue we now know?
Plainly, it's based on perspective.

His main goal was to delude Shepard into presserving Reapers by synthesis or control, foreshadowed by delusion of ending conflict betwen Reapers and cycle.

Quite right.

People with color blindness are fooled by their senses.

Hence my f*cking point. It's a poor analogy. Perspective is an important thing, but what you're talking about it effectively physical perspective.

No we don't. We need lots of other elements in the atmosphere to live. If was just oxygen then we could  in water. Also, irocily pure oxygen in high dosies is poisonous.

Saying what is an absolute?

That certain wavelengths will produce a certain color of light even though it's proven to be true?

Yes we do.

Earth's atmosphere consists primarily of oxygen and nitrogen, without either one, we would asphyxiate. Humans need oxygen to live.

Humans cannot breathe in water because we also need nitrogen, which is present in our atmosphere. Water consists of 2 parts hydrogen, 1 part oxygen. H2O. Hydrogen monoxide.

Not sure if obtuse or stupid.

Yes a wave lenghts can produce color via light but how we see it is till basd on our sense. Our sense still have limits. We may see it but that doesn't mean what we see is everything about it. We are still not seeing all the data there based on our physical limit.
