I don't get why everybody (people in this thread, and others) are upset that they'll probably be humans. I'm happy as long as they look cool and have unique powers.
There's a rumour going around here in BSN that the new characters are going to be N7 rare.
Other than that, we shall see.
I certainly hope not. I haven't touched ME3 multiplayer in a week and a half. If the characters are N7 rare, I'll just go right back to playing DR2: Off the Record and forget about the DLC.
From what I can remember, the leak suggested that the new characters are going to be N7 (the special forces) and not N7 (the item rarity). Saying that... could be both.

You know what? If they were appropriately powerful I wouldn't mind them being ultra rare either.TheWout wrote...
Actually, i wouldn't mind some Ultra Rare OP classes.
It will make teams interesting if you get to play with one occasionally.
Kinda like a Hero class.

The problem is that quite a few ultra-rare items currently are not appropriately powerful to their UR status...like the Indra, the Javelin, and even arguably the Black Widow. The concern would be that said UR characters would follow that trend and be UR without really deserving it.

Why bother? What we currently have is not a level playing field anyway in terms of weapons and powers. And, why limit that to the lucky few? I'd rather everyone have it all then people can arrange among themselves to use it or not.

"It features three new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury!"

I thought of that, but if that were the case we would see "N7" designated on every alien release.elPrimoFilipino wrote...
Does anyone remember the email Hackett sends Shepard in single player about the N7 Special Ops (multiplayer)? He states in the email that aliens have been temporarily given the N7 designation, and that he would let them keep it because he didn't want to affect morale of the troops. While I doubt it, maybe there could be a possibility some of the characters are aliens and the original leaker immediately thought of humans when he saw N7. Wishful thinking but it would be cool.
The only items in the game currently which actually have the "N7" designations in their name are those which are supposed to be used and tested/developed by the N7 program(the Hurricane, Crusader, Valiant, Valkyrie, and Eagle fall under this category).

But if they are OP then most people will use them all the time and BW will see he unbalance and "balance" them back to being not as good

Will this include new characters? I still haven't unlocked the ones from the previous packs because of the crappy random unlock system. :/

Really, you're questioning this? You should not have to buy 20 packs to get one new character unlocked. It stinks and it is crappy design (at least from a gamer's perspective).
