Here you go.

Yet another UR assault rifle....do they just really hate people who love automatic weapons?  Can't we get something good at the Rare level?

Truth be told, I used a few times and it worked well on Hardcore.  I didn't use it on Insanity, but it was always fun watching Javik melt away the enemies.
Not sure if you have had the pleasure of using the Particle Rifle in single player, but it is a constant stream of death.  Hold down the trigger and watch the enemy fall into a pile of green goo.

On casual maybe, i found it very hard to use on Insanity, due to having to move constantly to avoid grenades

Truth be told, I only tried it out on Hardcore a few times and it worked well.  I never tried it on Insanity, but it was fun watching Javik melt away enemies.

It works a lot better on your AI companions.
I'm not relying on my 12 year old companions in MP ;-)

on normal or lower it kills eveyrhting. on insanity its not very good. I never tried it on hardcore

Just, whatever.

I guess SP mode is so f*ck*d up that there's nothing more for them to work on than the only part of their game that anybody cares about anymore. That's not a dumb move. The dumb moves happened with not fixing the ending.

Now I've got to abuse MP like a red-headed stepchild to try to erase the memory of what most of my ME3 disc content was dedicated to. So hurry up, BioWare! Get my dry cleaning and make me a damn sandwich while you are at it! I don't want to have to tell you twice....

Having to hold the stream on an enemy to deal damage will cause a lot of deaths in multiplayer that's for sure. Lol

The multiplayer team is not the same as the single player team.

The single player team had to alter their schedule of work to create, test, and complete the Extended Cut. The fact that it came out as quickly as it did and did not wreck the actual game code is nothing short of astonishing.

They are going to be "N7 operatives"--which does not mean "N7 rare". It's a lore term, for human special forces.

They are, likely, going to be "more powerful than the previous characters"(humans at least) because they will be rares versus the starter humans you have.

It's just the rumors that's been flying around. Obviously, it could be completely wrong. Just hope we get some confirmation on this soon.

Doesn't mean the other races are extinct now does it? And last I checked Earth was one of the most devastated home planets from the Reaper attacks (second to Thessia and Kar'shan), so I really don't see how this would make humans more numerous when races like the Geth or Krogan could potentially be even bigger in number depends on your choices.

Of course lore aside (which wasn't really the basis of my problems anyhow), I just personally feel that with a universe full of exotic species, choosing more humans just makes things a whole lot less interesting. If you like it, then fine. For me though, I'm just slowly losing interest, making the the first DLC I have no hype for.

Because they're obligated to rewrite their story just because a few people whined about it (edit: and sent them cupcakes... which is such a great way to protest). I know people that whined about the way the Lord of the Rings movies ended, saying it didn't follow the way things happened in the books. Did they rerelease them later with "expanded content" the way those people wanted it? Of course not. The truly dumb move was so-called fans (acting more like fanboys) demanding that BioWare "fix" their story content.

That.

Also, Multiplayer and Singleplayer have separate teams working on them. Multiplayer isn't inhibiting Singleplayer content at all.

I did use it on Normal and Hardcore and it was entertaining.  My frustration is just that I really like SMGs and ARs, and the best ones so far have been either Promotional or UR.  I still haven't unlocked the Harrier.  I'll save up over a million for next Tuesday and just cross my fingers that I get either the Harrier or the Particle rifle.  I guess at least now I have 2 chances to get an interesting AR when I draw a black card.

I don't mind humans as long as the character models are unique, I thought the phoenix guys looked great. I do miss some of the alien armour though, I liked the Salarian and Turian full-suited with helmets like you see in earlier games. I also think they should do a Crysis 3 promotion, like the Battlefield 3 soldier - the Crysis soldier would have Ad rush, tac cloak and Fortification, with a heavy melee that looks like Nova.

Yes, and the rumors are based upon nothing but speculation.

So basically, ignore it.

Earth is one of the most devastated home planets from the Reaper attacks, but the Alliance did not have the majority of their forces present guarding the home world like the Asari or Turians did.
Humanity as well is the only race which actually pulled back from their home world to conserve their forces and regroup for a counterstrike. It's not until far later in the game that you see the Turians follow the human lead--and then only at Garrus' insistence that the Crucible is far more important than bloodying the Reapers' noses.

Of course lore aside (which wasn't really the basis of my problems anyhow), I just personally feel that with a universe full of exotic species, choosing more humans just makes things a whole lot less interesting. What exotic species though? There's not going to be more species added, in all likelihood. We're not going to see Yog Soldiers or any of the more out there choices that people have clamored for.

Heck, I would be surprised if we see any more Drell characters or Vorcha characters, etc. The choices that we have received thus far are simply the "iconic" characters of those races. We have the biotic assassins in the Drell Vanguards/Adepts, we have the Asari biotic commandos in the Vanguard/Adept and the more "specialist" version of them in the Asari Justicar, we have the Geth Hunter and the "regular" Geth soldiery in the form of the Engineer(who is based upon Legion minus the Geth Shield Matrix), we have the Salarian Infiltrator/Engineer, etc etc.

From a code writing standpoint, sure.  From the point of view of not improving what people hated about the ME3 ending, what is astonishing is the lack of brainpower being used in the name of 'Artistic Integrity.'

As it applies to MP, yeah, what should happen, since it seems that BW can't get it through their thick skull that they actually need to change the SP ending, they should take all those coders over to the MP side, where they can fix the rampant problems in MP mode.  Truth is, they have blown their own face off so much in SP, that they may as well make MP their main priority.  It is because of egomaniac, pseudo intellectualism that they won't fix SP, so might as well ride the horse in the direction it is going, and improve MP

That's what it seems they are doing.  And since they won't fix the one mistake, might as well make the best out of the part of the game that doesn't suck.

This is totally incorrect.  The original endings were blasted by a massive majority of the fans on this site and off of it  It was universal.  The people who were going to grip no matter what griped.  The people who were casual fans but liked the series griped.  The hardcore ME fan boys and girls griped.  This was not a few fans moaning like in most other cases.  This was the true definition of a back lash and BioWare did the right thing in trying to improve the endign experience.

The cupcake issue was a great way to 'protest' considering the massive publicity it got.  Instead of the usual mindless ranting that goes on people who were hard core BioWAre and ME fans used some imagination and what they did worked, it surely did.

Those aren't the armors we will likely see.

Those are copy/pastes of Cerberus armor variants from the tablet/smartphone game "Mass Effect: Infiltrator".
The fact that they're Cerberus armor alone makes it very unlikely we will see it, as unless the Alliance has started buying from Cerberus' Super Secret Mail Order Catalog...it isn't available to anyone but Cerberus.

Currently at 4.6 milion saved, hoarding like a boss :)

I'm guessing bioware released the particle rifle today to tempt some people into spending their saved up credits before the dlc drops so they'll spend realy money on packs instead lol.

Or it's a teaser regarding future defectors, who would likely defect with their Cerberus gear.

Ye cause I was thinking Shadow is Infiltrator and Fury was Vanguard so 1st armor being Shadow/ Fury supposedly made me question why Infiltrators and vanguards would share armor, thanks for clarifying :D

Which would again preclude this pack, as the humans are in the description of the DLC as "N7 human forces".
N7 != Cerberus.
N7 = Alliance.
