If they do a full week Ops, then they can simply jack up the target goals. Like this operation goal could be 1.5 million extractions for the allied goal if it was all week long.
This would be fair for most people. In particular, this operation's early end time means I can only play Friday given the things I have to do this weekend, and I wont be able to play long. But I don't think any of my ME3 friends will be on that day.

While I take most people think that the world (and in a small matter gaming) revoles around America it's good to see EA/Bioware cater for those of us gamers that are on the other side of the world like Australia. As now instead of the operation happening on Sunday/Monday for those of use in the GMT +16 hours time zone, this operation will now commence for us at 5am Saturday and finsih Sunday night.
As stated kudos to both EA/Bioware for actually thinking about the gamers in the other parts of the world and hopefully it will not be the last time that an operation starts at this time. :happy:

Personal experience from Operation Savage as proof. I was doing solo White Geth Bronze, they took me down 3 seconds before the timer hit zero. The result music was the extraction music instead of the failure music. Didn't get extraction that time, but I did the same run again and got full extraction soloing.

For the squad goal, "Extract at least one squad member...."
Must it be someone other than yourself extracting?
Another way of asking is if a person were to solo gold himself/herself or end up being the only person on the whole team to extract succesfully,will the aforementioned person be credited for the squad goal?Or will only the rest of his team members complete the squad goal?
Werid question I know but in my mind, I'm reading it as "YOU must extract at least one squad member" rather than "Have at least one member of the squad extract successfully"....though I believe it is most likely the latter.

Nope still across the 2 days I believe In Australia it will be from Saturday morning to Monday morning instead of a Sunday to Tuesday weekend which is normally the case for us.
It is just EA/Bioware looking after the people on the other side of the world from the USA.
I am sure that it will go back to the normal weekend times for the next operation.
I just think that EA/Bioware may be experimenting with some adjusted times and seeing how it goes. Hopefully a mixture of times will happen after this weekend to cater for those in the two vastly different time zones.

I think the general idea is just "GET AT LEAST ONE GUY OUT OF THERE". No need to read that deep into it. Partial and Full extraction are definite >1, after all.

It does. It used to cap at 10 (along with the other d-pad/number key consumable items) for about a week, then it was reduced to 5. Anyone with anything over 5 got grandfathered and kept their increased cap.YachiruChin wrote...

If we get the allied goal, the cap for medi-gel only will be increased to 6. So people with overmax 'gel capacity will not get any potential upgrades. Yet.
