Did a few extractions on gold (don't think I had any full extractions though), and then did a few more on silver with mostly full extracts.
What is most amazing to me is how many people are bringing infiltrators, engineers and soldiers into the gold challenge. I just thought biotics were the clear choice here. I had my cerb vanguard primed and ready to go and wound up switching to a different class to better complement my misguided randoms. I know, sure, any class is gold viable, but stringing biotic explosions makes things much easier here. Easiest gold match I had was vanguard, AA, Justicar, and a lone engineer.
I feel your pain, I joined a lobby as my Justicar but changed because all others were engineers and infiltrators. I changed to my QME and was waiting for the kick because I brought along my trusty Phalanx X while the other 3 had Krysaes. Guess who got stuck soloing waves 7-10(I got hugged by a banshee on 10 trying to finish the objective)? Hint: It wasn't anyone carrying a Krysae. People think carrying that thing makes them invincible lol. Unfortunately I have to go unload UPS trucks for 4 hrs or I'd have stuck around and told these people that big guns don't necessarily win gold games. Seems more and more are shying away from biotics and carrying weapons they aren't familiar with, just another reason why I left gold a while back and play silver, so atleast I can solo silver if the others die.
Back to the crazy randoms at 3:30am when I get home, gonna be a fun weekend!
