It all comes down to how each player wants to work as a team and if they are prepared for the challenge. Had a team of 4 engineers. X4 rocket drones, x4 revenants, x4 area overloads, and team mates not running off solo layering mass fire on targets = full extraction on Gold Reaper runs. Will do more Gold Reaper runs after I get back from work.

Engineers rock.

Already got my Squad objective done, but will do more Gold Reaper runs for the team.
Ps; BSN hates android phones

Just completed Gold with Reapers, omg so annoying. Random group, first time we failed on Wave 7, 2nd time Partial Extraction 3 from 4. I got instant killed 3 times when using medpack during these few games I played, 2 times Brute took all my shields through wall (!). I am outta here, most annoying goal ever <yes> Need to rest now.

Is there a progress report on the allied goal?

Probably wont be able to finish the squad goal. I stopped playing after the first community challenge and started again. My equipment is sub-par, which makes any gold reapers frustrating as hell. Oh well, silver reapers it is.

Don't give up. There are great (in terms of skill), decent (in terms of demeanor) players who don't mind helping a silver player through. Also, as the new-to-gold randoms I did the challenge with today can attest, you might surprise yourself. 

Your manifest says you're a PC player. If you bolster your consumables a bit, I'd be happy to burn through some of mine to give Reapers/Gold the old college try with you. I'd probably need to fetch some backup from my friends list, though.

trying this in random lobbies borders to "useless". either the biotics won't cooperate or a techie breaks the biotic prime all the time or everybody save their medigel for wave 11... and wtf is a missile launcher?
I also can't understand why people won't stack up all the consumable slots? I won't enter a game anymore whenever i see that - useless anyway.
wave 10 was tops until now.

I start to feel like not caring about the goal anymore.

Those are the only ones that will prime it (though don't forget AJ's bubble if specced offensively), but that's still a priming power each for the AA (/Human Sentinel), the Justicar, and the Phoenix (all of which will detonate the others). Plus the AA can detonate with a faster cooldown using Throw. AA + AJ + Phoenix is indeed a pretty good combination if you're looking for a Biotic Explosion fest.

Anyone else having server issues? We've had multiple glitches, kicks and disconnects so far. No offense to Bioware but how do they expect us to do these weekend operations when EA are using such ****ty servers for this game?

I lack the skill to play Gold, this was my third Gold game ever, and i'm not in the mood to repeat my experience.

WTF? NOT true. read the descripton. it is right there. just one person extracted is enough.

Probably a dumb question, but must you have 4 players for the allied goal? What if you solo a game and extract, will that not count?

Yes, but that is for the allied/community goal. The gentleman you were answering wanted to know if his partial extraction counted towards the squad goal, so he can get a commendation pack, and it DOES count because you only have to extract ONE squadmate against Gold Reapers. You get your commendation pack.

Now, for all of us to get our victory packs, we need full extractions against Reapers (on any difficulty) 400,000 times as a community. Easiest way is Bronze it up.

tried doing it for 3 hours straight.
My team was always wiped out on wave 7 :| .
Almost got it once, working together with a phoenix adept as my human sentinel, setting up explosions for him, but then we both got killed by the remaining few cannibals and I used up my medi-gel before.
I'm gonna try again later, in the evening. Hopefully I'll find a nice biotic team this time .
