Just looked at the blog and it lists the 16th as the cut off date, so I went back in and did a couple more full extracts.

Maybe I'll get lucky and it will be the time listed on the blog rather than Chris's cruel time table

Either way I had fun getting my butt kicked by dot fireballs from banshees...

I have no idea. Self sabotage for the event I guess. My subconscious wanted to nerf my chances of getting another hurricane or valiant, i guess.

The confusion of the cut-off time feels like one of those bad calls by a referee after losing a match when a team would probably still lose anyway. There have been a few threads on the forum about this already, yet there's been no official confirmation. 400k is a tall order, but with the confusion of the timeframe it makes one think about "what-if" if we do fail.

Why is it people feel the need to nova and smash on Wave 11? The past 5 matches (on silver even) people got insta-grabbed by a banshee. Are they trying to look cool for their teammates? And people give Korgan Vanguards a bad name, so looks like their human counterparts are taking their place. Keep on trying to show off you morons. If we do fail this event, people like you are to blame. <_<

Finally got the time to win a Gold run and contribute some extra games against reapers on my low-levels. Hopefully it all counts!

First, I'd like to apologize to all the squadmates I let down by getting my kroguard instakilled,usually on wave 10, which then led to team wipe. Finally I wised up and used my Asari Justicar, got in with a really good group and laid waste to those no good rotten stinky nasty bashees and brutes on FBW. I thought for sure I wouldn't make the squad goal this time, Reapers on Gold is very tough, I can only imagine how insane platinum will be.

I clocked in about 15 hours of killing nothing but reapers over the weekend.

That being said, this event is probably planned to end in failure so that they can use that as an excuse to release the "reinforcements" from the Earth DLC. At least, that's what happened when Rebellion came out.

Either way, having millions of credits to spend on hopefully unlocking new stuff is kind of nice...

I have no idea if this has been answered...but if we did a "Quick Match" and got popped into a match Wave 2, then made it all the way to extraction on Wave 11...does it still count?

Which is why i have been playing bronze reapers... It is boring but at least you'll get full extractions.

Did a great run yesterday on Gold on FBGhost. I played Gethgineer, specced the turret to basically chain restore shields, and just made sure to keep it popped up next to my biotic teams, helped them weather through banshee fire and eating one or two ravager shots. They took care of brutes and banshees, I kept the marauders and cannibals from flanking them. Even with our fourth getting grabbed by a banshee every wave there was one, was still lots of fun. Stressful, but fun.

Not gonna lie. Was my first time on Gold (well, seriously doing gold, not the random times the quick game finder decided to stick my low levels in one when I ask for bronze), but was much easier than I was led to believe, reading these horror stories.

Ended up in second, trailing the detonator by about 8k or so... All in all, a good run.  Now to hope that Bioware remembers to give me my comm pack this time

Well, all squad members but not necessarily 4 squad members - going solo and extracting counts as well. Hence the bronze 'full extraction farming'.

I hope we actually hear if we did this or not on Tuesday, even if a DLC is coming out the same day. Any confirmation on when we'll receive the reward packs? I know I did the squad goal multiple times

If the number of people extracted = number of players in that game, then it's a full extraction, which counts.  At least that's how the coding works if I remember the old data mining info correctly.

That strategy was pretty much what we were doing since Friday, we knew about the banshee warp glitch from previous experience, the problem I think was too low-level weapons and not enough high level equipment for our team, most of the times a brute would instakill one of us through the low wall and that then lead to the team wiping. Still we enjoyed it, it was... Intense

You may have just played wth nof the greatest Youtube commentators of all time(you're on PC, right?)  Look up xcalizorz on Youtube and check out o one of his Mass Effect multipayer videos. If it all fits, you are a lucky, lucky S.O.B and I will be jealous.

Thank you guys who played with ThinkAdrian (me, I wish you could change your PSNID) on Gold! It was fun and we managed one full team extraction.

So I reckon I am entitled to a com pack, but how will you know? Will I get an email, or will a com pack appear after 4am PST today?

is there some multiplayer status screen somewhere at bioware we can watch? Wouldn't that be a good idea? We could see how many reaper asses we kicked?

Just finished playing so many Gold matches, I can't see straight. I just hope they counted and we get the goal of 400,000 Full extractions. 2 of my friends were like it's lone survivor or better, but I just didn't want to argue. I just hope the end of the event is 4 am today and not 10 am yesterday. BW gotta get your schedule right and not confuse the community with wrong info. It is what it is and I had a great time playing with this event and I look forward to blowing my million plus credits on the Earth dlc. Here's to us all!

Finally finished wave 11 on gold difficulty. Guess trying the Krogan Sentinel was a good idea.
